Clinical Application of Basic Ultrasound in
Obstetrics & Gynaecology
The purpose of this course is to provide both theoretical and practical training
in basic ultrasound skills including early pregnancy and basic fetal
assessment in the 2nd and 3rd trimester. This course is aimed at trainees
needing to complete the RCOG curriculum requirements of basic ultrasound
training and will provide the necessary competencies for trainees who have
interest in further developing their ultrasound skills in obstetrics and
gynaecology. There will be a half day of lectures followed by a weekend
practical session.
