12 - 207Chemoenzymatic Synthesis of 4-Amino-2-hydroxy Acids: A Compar-ison of Mutant and Wild-Type Oxidoreductases. — The geneticallyengineered H205Q mutant of oxidoreductase (bio-agent1) is proved to be anideal catalyst for the reduction of all the α-keto acids, which are derived fromthe esters (II) by lipase treatment. In all cases single diastereomers are formed. In contrast, the wild-type lactate dehydrogenases (bio-agent2 and bio-agent3)reduce only the keto acid derived from ester (IIa). — (SUTHERLAND,ANDREW; WILLIS, CHRISTINE L.; J.
