Additional Notes: Made by local woodworker Tony Baleno. The wood used to create this cutting board is from a windfall 6 years ago in Cedarvale, NY (just down the road from Pleasant Valley Preserve). The maple log was cut into sections and milled with a band mill on Pleasant Valley Rd. It was then air dried for several years and planed. The maple was cut into strips and glued to form blanks which were later cut and reglued into the final patterns. Some cherry strips were added to the top and bottom sides for color contrast. Once the blank was sanded and routed, it was treated with mineral oil.

Description: 11.25"w x 31.75"h x 4.5"d handmade copy of original timepiece found at Hancock Shaker Village (Cat #21) in Pittsfield, MA. Casework is made from Butternut lumber. It has a quartz clock mechanism with working pendulum.

Additional Notes: Made by local woodworker Tony Baleno. The butternut wood used to create the beautiful clock cabinet was over 30 years old & has beautiful warm grain color crafted in the traditional Shaker style. The clock has the traditional top hole for hanging on Shaker pegs which were used extensively in their buildings. The clock face is a copy of the original design. The door pullsare lathe-turned from cherry.
