Goals For BPA

Members Community Service We will orchestrate the Community
Service days and events by using a sign up website called Sign-Up
Genius. Monthly Newsletter o This will help assist with
communication within our chapter and to increase member involvement
within the chapter. Team Building Activities o I would like to plan
a Cass Tech BPA Leadership Retreat. This day would be focused
around us, as a group, becoming better leaders and better business
professionals. Increasing Responsibilities o We will be creating
committee for different events we may hold to allow members to gain
leadership skills.

Participating in community service will allow our chapter to
grow mentally and emotionally. Giving back to the community will
allow us to see life in a different light. For the months of
November and December we have holiday based community services
planed. November-Adopt a less fortunate family and Provide Food
December-Start a Fundraiser and Toy Drive and give Gifts to
children at Childrens Hospital Further Information will be posted

This Year Our BPA Chapter Has An INSTAGRAM!!! casstech__bpa The
Historian, President and the advisors will have access to the
INSTAGRAM account BUT, using the hash-tag #ctbpa,We will be able to
share all of our members memories on our account

Fundraising Candy Sales Monthly Candy Specials Old Fashion
Candy also offer smaller candy that would allow us to test what our
market, hungry teenagers, like and do not like. Pizza Coupons The
students will buy the coupon from us a pizza restaurant, to be
named at a later date, and the coupon will allow them to get a free
pizza from the restaurant. Entertainment Book Sales The
Entertainment Book Sales would be targeted to parents and staff.
Scratch Cards Old Fashion Candy sells Donation Dots, which allows
members to ask potential donors to scratch off a dot. The dot they
scratch is the amount they donate.

Newsletter The monthly newsletter will outline events that are
going to occur within the month. This will help assist with
communication within our chapter and to increase member involvement
within the chapter. The newsletter will be posted on the Cass Tech
BPA Website Monthly, with the approval of our advisors.

Competitive Events The WSAP Competitive Events program is the
biggest part of what makes BPA tick. Students prepare for and
compete in contests in over 50 categories, under the four broad
topics of Finance, Information Technology, Administrative Support,
and Management/Marketing/Human Resources. Members need to become
familiar with the competitive events, so they can choose the one
they want to participate in. We have two physical copies of the
WSAP Event Listing Books and it is located on our BPA Website under
BPA Competitions.BPA Competitions We Must Know Which Competition
You Want To Compete In By The End Of This Week!

BPA Scholarships Business Professionals of America partners
with organizations to offer scholarships to its student members.
The majority of these scholarships are for Seniors, in order to be
eligible We need your most current GPA.

Committees Committees are often formed to do research and make
recommendations on a potential or planned project. In our BPA
Chapter we will use Committees for the following objectives:
Starting and Completing Project Planning Community Service
Communication Creating a Monthly Newsletter

Committee Descriptions Project Committee This Committee will be
in charge of completing BPA projects that will assist the chapter.
The members in this committee would include a committee leader and
3 additional BPA Members. Members in this committee should have
experience in material research,prices, quantity, and quality,
creating word documents and working well within a team. Community
Service Committee This Committee will be in charge of organizing
community service events for our chapter members and getting the
events approved by the advisors and officers The members in this
committee would include a committee leader and 3 additional BPA
Members. Members in this committee should have experience working
with other individuals, have professional communication skills and
have experience with organizing events. Communication Committee
This Committee will be in charge of working with the Historian to
update our social member accounts and take pictures when our
chapter is participating in a BPA related event The committee
leader will be the Historian and this committee will have 4
additional members. The members for this committee should be
comfortable taking pictures, using picture editing software, using
social media, and have experience with interviewing individuals.
Newsletter Committee This Committee will be in charge of creating a
monthly newsletter highlighting events occurring in our chapter for
the month. Members in this committee would include a committee
leader and 3 additional BPA Members. The members in this committee
should have experience with writing, creating word documents and
have a creative mind when creating documents.

president carries specific responsibilities for program planning.
Secretary The secretary record and correspond meetings Historian
The historian will provide pictorial and factual information to be
kept as permanent records of the chapters activities. Treasurer The
