    How do they get along?

    The children get along well with their mother but since

    the father is not around every time we visit, we don't

    know how they around their father. And the

    relationship of the mother and the father are

    according to N.C. "sa mga bata nalang gid ang atensyon

    namun. Amo na mo. Luyag sa luyag pero sa mga bata

    nalang ang focus namin."

    G. Eating Patterns:

    Observation about kitchen mealtimes:

    They would eat together every breakfast and dinner.

    According to N., they would wait for her husband to

    return from work in the evening so that they could

    eat their dinner together at around 6:00-7:00 PM. The

    food that they usually eat include adobo, rice and

    water.

    status:

    They usually eat chicken. But according to N., she

    makes sure that they eat vegetables if they have

    money. The two children also appear healthy with

    no signs of malnutrition.

    The student nurses perceive inadequate nutrition, poor

    hygiene, risk for injury or falls and poor health status as thefamilys health problems due to poor living conditions and

    low socio-economic status.
