ShehasreceivedcriticalacclaimfrominternationalpaperssuchastheNewYorkTimes,the

LosAngelesTimes, theSanDiegoUnionTribuneandtheOltnerTagblattofOlten,Switzerland forher performances in both standard and contemporary repertoire. Mark Swed of the LA timesrecently stated in his review of themonumental Tuesdays at Monkspace concert “Sequenza ~Sequenza!”that"StaceyFrasermadetheSequenzaintoaseamlessaria,sureofmusicaldirectionwhilemissingnoneofthehumororthefrighteningshocksofhorror."

Recordings include the role of Lisinga on the premiere recording ofManuel del Pópulo

Vicente Garcia’s operaLeCinesi forHarmonicorde; achambermusicalbumofworksbyAsianand American composers entitled Lotusblume for the Viennese label, ein Klang records, SevenEpitaphs forsoprano andclarinet byBarneyChilds forAdvanceRecordings,WorldscapeIIIbyKoji Nakano for Voices of the Pearl and Snowflakes, Blossoms : Friends of theWayby MarjorieMerryman for the Created at Scripps recording series. A new film by critically acclaimedfilmmakerSandraPowers featuringFrasersingingcomposerChinaryUng’sStillLifeAfterDeathwillbereleasedindependentlylaterthisyear.

Stacey is dedicated to the performance of vocal works by modern Asian-American

composersandisalong-timecollaboratorofJapanesecomposerKojiNakano,grandprizewinnerofthe2008S&RFoundationaward.Ms.FraserhasrecordedNakano’sAncientSongs(2007)forsolovoiceaswellashischamberpieceTimeSongII,Howlingthroughtimeforsoprano,percussionand flute (2006). Fraser gave the world premiere of Nakano’s new work for soprano entitledArigatoofromtheoperaSpiritualForestattheKennedyCenterin2011.SheperformedtheAsianpremiereofArigatoo tendays lateronMarch1,2011toasoldouthouseat theTaipeiNationalConcertHall inTaiwan.ShehassinceperformedtheworldpremiereofNakano’sWorldscapeIII

Kazan Co-op Theatre, Anna I in KurtWeill’sDieSieben Todsünden, for the lotusflower newmusicproject,DespinainMozart’sCosifanTutte,PaminainTheMagicFlutefortheSanDiegoOpera Ensemble, Erste Knaben in Mozart’s Die Zauberflöte, First Handmaiden in Puccini’sTurandotfortheSanDiegoOpera,MissSilverpealinTheImpresario forSouthDakotaSymphonyandtheroleoftheOperaSingerinParisCommuneforLaJollaPlayhouse.DuringhertenureatSanDiegoOperaasanEnsemblemember,sheunderstudiedtherolesofMarzellineinFidelio,SuzanneinTobiasPicker’sThérèseRaquinandLéila inBizet’sLesPêcheursdesPerles.Oratoriohighlightsinclude the soprano soloist inHandel’sMessiah with Vancouver Symphony, Eva inHaydn’sDieSchöpfungwithLaJollaSymphony,andsopranosoloistinbothMendelssohn’sLobgesangeandtheStravinskyMasswiththeSanBernardinoSymphony.

As a stage director her innovative, modern and zany adaptations of the standard and

contemporaryoperaticrepertoireincludeBernstein’sTroubleinTahiti,Humperdinck’sHänselundGretel,Mozart’sImpresario,Offenbach’sRSVP:oraMusicaleatMr.Cauliflower’sandMozart’sCosifantutte.AdditionalcreditsincludetheBizet/BrookLaTragédiedeCarmenforOperaonTapSanFrancisco,Bernstein’sCandide forPasadenaOpera,andMariadeBuenosAiresbyAstorPiazzollawithlibrettobyHoracioFerrerforCalStateSanBernardino.

Recent productions include three chamber operas by American composer Robert Xavier

Rodriguez,MonkeySeeMonkeyDo,TangoandConcertSuite fromFridaaswell asher acclaimedQuentin Tarantino inspired production of Donizetti’sDonPasquale for CSUSB. In 2012 StaceyassistedCanadiandirectorKellyRobinsononMozart’sDonGiovanni at theBanffCentre for theArts.Shehasalsocollaboratedonseveralproductionswithdancer/choreographerFaithJensen-IsmayofthecriticallyacclaimedSanDiegoDanceCompany,MojaletDanceCollective.

SheholdsaDoctorateinContemporaryMusicPerformancefromUniversityofCalifornia,
