Parents and students should NOT be on cellphones while driving
on campus. No car should pass a parked bus on Yellow Jacket Drive
during drop-off and pick-up. To help with this problem students
should enter Yellow Jacket by the Auditorium.

ABSENCES- Students have 3 days to submit an excuse following an
absence. After 3 days the absence will be marked unexcused. Notes
brought in after the fact will require Administrative
approval.

CHECK OUTS- NO PERSONAL check outs by telephone. Students may
be checked out by telephone for doctor/dentist/other excused
appointments provided they return with an excuse from their
appointment. Failure to present an excuse will lead to loss of
check out by phone privileges.

OUTSIDE FOOD POLICY- Food will no longer be allowed to be
dropped off at the Attendance Office. Students who bring outside
food to campus will be asked to transfer food into non-
identifiable packaging. (This is a CCS policy)

YES Shoes must be worn at all times. NO House slippers are not
allowed.

YES Shirts must have appropriate coverage and decency. NO
Tank-tops, spaghetti straps, see- through, mid-riff and exposed
undergarments.

YES Bottom wear must have appropriate coverage and decency not
to exceed 6 inches above the knee. NO Pants with tears/holes more
than 6 inches above the knee, which drag /need to be held up with
hands. Garments extremely tight and/or revealing. (Gym shorts in
gym only)

No bandanas, do-rags, combs/rollers or sunglasses inside the
building. NEW POLICY-Hat passes will be for sale beginning Sept. 1
for $25. Hats are not permitted without a pass. (Hats will be
removed for assemblies/special events)

No apparel with reference to alcohol, drugs, tobacco or
sexual/vulgar remarks. No apparel with signs/symbols that could
cause a disruption will be allowed.

YES Facial jewelry in the form of studs is acceptable. Holes
may be filled with clear retainer. NO Dog collars, chains, studded
bracelets or hooped/looped piercings.

Detention will be held during 5 th period each day in
conjunction with ISS. Students will be expected to participate in a
variety of tasks to help maintain the campus. Violation of
detention rules could result in students removal/loss of
credit.
