PRODUCT SPECIFICATIONS
MATERIALS
White and MB-40 bronze electrostatically applied baked polyesterpaint.
FRAME
All frames are assembled with a silicone-injected corner key for addedstrength and durability. The frame jamb width is 2-11/16” (68.25 mm),and the nominal extrusion exterior wall thickness is 0.063”. Theframe incorporates a 1/2” front flange for typical Florida installationsinto block construction. Weep holes are included on the frame toensure standing water is directed to the exterior plane of the unit.Optional frame types: slip-on nailing fin.
SASH
The single hung sash is a nominal 1-1/4” (31.75mm) thickness. It ismechanically fastened for added strength and durability, and siliconesealed to ensure weathertight performance.
GLAZING
3/4” (19mm) insulated glass consists of two lites of glass sealed arounda spacer. 1/8” (3mm) and 3/16” (5mm) monolithic glazing. The glassis mounted into the sash using a silicone-glazing compound. Theinsulating glass units comply with the performance requirements ofthe IGCC in accordance with either ASTM E774 or E2190. All units areexterior glazed.
GLAZING OPTIONS
3/4” (19mm) insulated glass is available in clear, Low-E or Low-E 366,tinted, obscure or other specialty insulating glass as specified. 1/8”(3mm) and 3/16” (5mm) monolithic glazing. Many glass options areavailable in tempered glazing or monolithic glass.
WEATHER-STRIPPING
A fin-pile weather-strip is applied along the full perimeter of theoperating sash and meeting rail.
HARDWARE
A single action cam style lock is available on all windows. Block andTackle balance systems are utilized to support the vertical operationof the sash.
INSECT SCREENS
The exterior fiberglass charcoal color insect screen is set in analuminum frame to match the color of the unit. The spring loadedscreen system assists in keeping it secured to the window. Insectscreens are intended to allow air and light in and keep insects out.They are not intended to keep anyone or anything from fallingthrough an open door or window. For safety screens or other securitydevices contact your local building supply retailer.
GRILLES
GBG (Grilles between the Glass) - 5/8” (16mm) and 7/8” (22.2mm) flator 5/8” (16mm) contour grilles mounted between the glass panessuspended within the air cavity and color matched to the extrusioncolor.
DA (Double Applied) - Aluminum 7/8” double applied flat/flat bar isapplied to the exterior of the single glazed glass to give the detail ofa true divided look.

Weather plane flashing must provide a continuousseal between weather plane of fenestration productand weather plane of wall system.
All metal to metal joints must be sealed afterinstallation, this includes, but is not limited to dripcaps and mullion covers.
Job site ”Frame to Frame” Mull joints must besilicon sealed between frames.
JELD-WEN recommends all window products beinstalled with a sill pan or equivalent must includeback dam and side dams @ 7/8”.
