BUILDING SYSTEMS ANALYSIS
Evaluate flow distribution in clean
rooms, data centers, hospital
quarantine rooms, atriums and many
other applications
Optimize data center configuration and
identify “Hot” zones.
Identify moisture level & distribution in
indoor swimming pools and water parks
Evaluate smoke & carbon monoxide
levels in emergency exit corridors for
scenarios involving localized fire events
Human (thermal) comfort
Natural ventilation effectiveness
Contaminant control

DATA CENTER ANALYSIS
Data center air flow can be analysed using
CFD software which reveals detailed
information about the way the air is
distributed throughout the room.
Room optimization can be performed
virtually rather than by trial and error.
TDMG has performed analysis on data
centers with CRAC systems and central
under-floor ventilation systems.
The results of the analysis show the areas
which may not be seeing adequate airflow or
rack sections which may have inlet
temperatures which are too high due to
recirculation or other.
Detailed rack analysis can also be
performed, where necessary, to identify the
performance of the rack equipment.

INDOOR POOLS AND WATERPARKS
Proper ventilation for indoor pools and waters
parks is a must in order to achieve a good
design, thermal comfort for the bathers and
spectators, as well as safety concerns.
TDMG has performed a number of ventilation
analyses to establish humidity levels, human
comfort parameters, mean age of air,
condensation concerns on windows, and
exhaust of pool chemicals.
In many cases, the analyses performed
identified areas of air recirculation, high
velocity jets, and condensation issues that
would have resulted in on-site corrective
action. Identification of these concerns
allowed for redesign of the ventilation system
(example: relocation of supplies and returns)
well before the ventilation system was built.

CLEAN ROOM ANALYSIS
Our ventilation analysis capabilities allow us
to model clean rooms and identify areas of
concern.
Having early visibility of problem areas
means that the issues can be solved early in
the design cycle and in an effective manner
rather than after the fact.
Contamination zones can be eliminated.
Plenum design can be optimized for optimal
flow performance.
Humidity control can be evaluated early in the
design.
All the above can be done prior to investment
of capital.
