Concept
Social Coding: Tis is the basis o the entirety o Boshs (the
clients) photography. It plays on the idea o social observation
in the way that consumerist society is perceived by each and
every individual. Everybody, no matter that their background
has a particular angle on society. It was the angular nature o
each perception that we took orward into the design process.
ypeace
aking the concept o perceptions and points o view literally.
A typeace was created based on the idea o a 360 degree point
o view. Te letter orms are cut equally by a line dened rom
every angular 1/25th division rom 0 to 360. Tis creates
a universally applicable typeace that efectively denes the
photographers brand and delivers the concept.

A Degree of Security
Website
The website was of paramount importance to the client
and hence is something that is a primary focus of the
brief. The client wanted to stay away from stereotypical
photographer websites and instead create something
that was original, intriguing and exclusive.
Website
To primarily deliver the concept. A piece of moving
image developed from the typeface that displays the
photographers professional nickname loops on the
homepage. Rotating angular lines draw each letter as
numerical degrees climb and fall in sync. A 3 second full
bleed image transition continues until the user enters
the exclusive entry code.

Upon Entry
Once the user has successfully entered the code and
gained access to the website they are welcomed with
further full bleed images. Transitional buttons are only
available through mouse roll-overs on the le, right
and bottom of the screen. This pushs the idea of
exclusivity as well as allowing the photos to be di splayed
as well as possible.
What Tabs?
The client was insistent on staying away from
conventional website normalities, because of this
no alphabetical tabs exist on the website. The only
information comes from a key generated from
degrees. Each degree relates to a separate topic of the
photographers practice, ranging from multiculturalism
to subculture. An aptly related key is found at the bottom.
Manual Image Transition
Rather than the average transition found on websites for
the culture sector. The transition here is dened through
a + or - degree symbol rather than a stereotypical le
or right arrow. This eectively exemplies the concept
through the degree in the top right corner climbing or
falling as an image transides.

Exclusive Publications
Limited edition photographic publications were created
to eectively promote the BOSH brand. The layouts of the
publications were not dened by any set grid to further
push the concept of everything (or every page) being seen
by a dierent angle or perception. As well as this each
image is titled with a list of degrees that relate back to
the key in the front of the book and the BOSH typeface.
Tablet Application
Due to the ever-growing demand for on-the-move digital
interactivity the website has been congured to work
within the connements of a tablet. Not only does
this increase the availability of the BOSH brand but it
provides more public exposure of the website and the
brand through spectators being able to perceive the
website from a far.

Promotion
As well as the exclusive publication and the digital
website, further promotion has been created in
the form of throw away fold out yers. The stock
choice compliments the raw and grainy feel of the
photographers images and as well as this it is cheap
and easy to manufacture making it the perfect hand out
material.
Flyers
To comply with the unorthodox nature and angular
division of the rest of the branding a strange format
for yers was created for distribution. A half A5 format
allows for a yer that stands out among competitors.
As well as this each photo is divided over two yers
implying further exclusivity as collectors can only see
the full image when they have the two matching yers.
