Règles de conduite pour les vététistes
1. Porte toujours des gants et un casque, car les gens intelligentsse protègent.
2. Ne roule que sur un vélo techniquement irréprochable.Vérifie régulièrement ton matériel.
3. Entretiens ta forme et ne surestime pas tes capacités, souviens-toique certaines routes sont situées à plus de 3000 m. d’altitude.
4. Respecte toujours le code de la route et n’emprunte que les voiesautorisées aux VTT.
5. Protège les plantes et les animaux, ne roule que sur des routes etdes chemins tracés.
6. Ne traverse jamais les forêts et les prairies en dehors des chemins.7. Fais attention aux randonneurs et aux promeneurs, sois aimable
et descends de vélo s’il le faut.8. Ne dévale pas les pentes à toute allure. Si des promeneurs arrivent
en face de toi, réduis ta vitesse à une allure adaptée.9. Referme toujours derrière toi les barrières et les clôtures.
10. Respecte les consignes et la signalisation de la police, de l’arméeet du personnel forestier.

Vêtements

pour cyclistes et circuits de randonnées dans les environs;– l’hôtel dispose d’au moins une offre servant à détendre ses hôtes

Code d’honneur de la Downhill Community
1. En tant que downhiller je m’engage à respecter la nature et jedépose tous les déchets dans les poubelles prévues à cet effet ou lesemporte avec moi. Je fais attention aux randonneurs et aux piétons etleur laisse toujours la priorité.
2. En tant que downhiller, j’utilise pour pratiquer ce sport les routestracées spécialement, je respecte les consignes et les panneauxd’interdiction et ne passe jamais dans les prairies ou les prés. Jen’utilise pas de chemins sauvages et j’évite de faire peur aux animauxsauvages. Je prends acte du fait que je puisse rencontrer de la circu-lation à tout moment aux carrefours de la rue Sunnegga paradise –Tuftern – Zermatt, et j’adapte ma vitesse en conséquence.
3. En tant que downhiller, je suis les consignes du personnel des télé-phériques et des collaborateurs du Bike Park. En outre, je respecte lesdirectives en matière de transport des bikes. Les downhillers sont ache-minés jusqu’à Sunnegga paradise et au Gornergrat par téléphérique.
4. En tant que downhiller, je pratique mon sport à mes risques et périls.Je suis conscient que ce sport comporte des risques inhabituels n’étantpas entièrement couverts par les assurances «classiques» comme laSUVA etc. et dispose par conséquent d’une assurance personnelle quicouvre les risques supplémentaires. Je dispose également d’uneresponsabilité civile privée pour les dommages causés à autrui. En casd’accident, je renonce à faire valoir des dommages et intérêts àl’encontre de Zermatt Bergbahnen AG ou de Gornergrat Bahn etprends acte que Zermatt Bergbahnen AG et Gornergrat Bahn rejettenttoute responsabilité en cas d’accident ou de dommage matériel.
5. En tant que downhiller, je m’engage à porter des vêtements de pro-tection adéquats. Le port du casque est obligatoire pour moi.
6. Les downhillbikers s’engagent à retirer un numéro de départ à la sta-tion Sunnegga paradise ou auprès de Gornergrat Bahn et s’engagent àle porter constamment lorsqu’ils sont sur les pistes de manière visibleet de le restituer une fois leur forfait expiré. Sans numéro, les down-hillers ne pourront pas utiliser les moyens de transport. En casd’accident ou de dommage matériel, je le signale immédiatement àun point de vente.
7. Si vous quittez la piste tracée, Zermatt Bergbahnen AG ou GornergratBahn sont autorisées à exiger une amende de 75,00 CHF. Par ailleurs,le billet de transport est confisqué et non remplacé.

Code of Behaviour for Bikers
1. Always wear gloves and a helmet – be clever and protect yourself.2. Only ride a bike which is in the best possible technical condition.
Check your equipment regularly.3. Keep yourself fit and never over estimate your capabilities,
remember that some routes reach up to 3’000 metres abovesea level.
4. Always obey traffic regulations and only use routes marked asbike paths.
5. Show consideration for plants and animals and only use existingroads and paths.
6. Never ride cross-country through woods and meadows.7. Show consideration for hikers and pedestrians, be friendly and
dismount when necessary.8. Never ride recklessly downhill. If you see hikers coming towards
you, reduce your speed appropriately.9. Always close gates and gates to meadows behind you.
10. Follow instructions from the police, military and forest workers.

The Downhill Community’s code of honour
1. As a downhill rider, I will take care of nature and dispose of rubbishonly in the bins provided for this purpose or will take it away myself.I will be careful of hikers and pedestrians and will grant them right ofway at all times.
2. As a downhill rider, when practising my sport I will only use the routesmarked for this purpose, I will take heed of rules and notices and willunder no circumstances ride over meadows and fields or use pathsused by wild animals. I will also avoid disturbing wild animals. I amaware that I should expect traffic at crossroads with the Sunneggaparadise – Tuftern – Zermatt road at all times and will adapt my speedaccordingly.
3. As a downhill rider, I will follow the instructions of cable car personneland Bike Park employees. I will also adhere to rules regarding the trans-port of bikes. Downhill riders will be taken as far as Sunnegga paradiseand to Gornergrat by train.
4. As a downhill rider, I practise my sport at my own risk. I am aware thatthis sport is associated with unusual risks that are not completelycovered by “normal” insurance such as SUVA and thus have personalaccident insurance which covers the additional risks and have personalliability insurance in case of damage to third parties. Should an accidentoccur, I will not make claims against Zermatt Bergbahnen AG orGornergrat Bahn and am aware that Zermatt Bergbahnen AG andGornergrat Bahn completely reject all liability for accidents anddamage to property.
5. As a downhill rider, I will make sure I wear appropriate protectiveclothing. It is obligatory for me to wear a helmet.
6. Every downhill rider is obliged to get a start number at the Sunneggaparadise valley station or Gornergrat Bahn and must display this in fullview during all rides and to return this when it is no longer valid. Nodownhill rider will be able to use transport without a number. Accidentsand damage to property will be reported immediately by me at a pointof sale.
7. Should I leave the marked course, Zermatt Bergbahnen AG or Gorner-grat Bahn are entitled to levy a fine of CHF 75.00. In addition, my ticketwill be withdrawn and will not be replaced.

Ehrenkodex der Downhill Community
1. Als DownhillerIn trage ich Sorge zur Natur und deponiere jeglichenAbfall nur in den dafür vorgesehenen Abfallkörben oder nehme ihnselber wieder mit. Ich nehme Rücksicht auf Wanderer und Fussgängerund gewähre Ihnen stets den Vortritt
2. Als DownhillerIn benutze ich zur Ausübung meines Sportes nur diedazu markierten Routen, beachte die Gebots und Verbotstafeln undfahre unter keinen Umständen über Wiesen und Felder, benutze auchkeine Wildwechselpfade, zudem vermeide ich das Aufscheuchen vonWildtieren. Ich nehme zur Kenntnis, dass ich bei Kreuzungen mit derStrasse Sunnegga paradise – Tuftern – Zermatt zu jeder Zeit mit Ver-kehr rechnen muss und passe meine Geschwindigkeit entsprechendan.
3. Als DownhillerIn befolge ich die Anweisungen des Bergbahn-Personalsund Bike Park Mitarbeiter. Zudem halte ich mich an die Vorschriftenzum Transport der Bikes. DownhillerInen werden bis Sunnegga paradi-se und zum Gornergrat mit der Bahn befördert.
4. Als DownhillerIn übe ich meinen Sport auf eigenes Risiko aus. Ich binmir bewusst, dass dieser Sport auch mit ungewöhnlichen Risiken ver-bunden ist, welche durch «normale» Versicherungen wie SUVA etc.nicht voll gedeckt sind und verfüge deshalb über eine persönlicheUnfallversicherung welche die Zusatzrisiken deckt und habe einePrivathaftpflichtversicherung für Schäden gegenüber Dritten. Bei einemUnfall werde ich gegen die Zermatt Bergbahnen AG oder GornergratBahn auf Schadenersatzforderungen verzichten und nehme zur Kennt-nis, dass die Zermatt Bergbahnen AG und die Gornergrat Bahn beiUnfällen und Sachbeschädigungen jegliche Haftung vollumfänglichablehnen.
5. Als DownhillerIn verpflichte ich mich zum Tragen von entsprechenderSchutzkleidung. Das Tragen eines Helmes ist für mich obligatorisch.
6. Jede/r Downhill-Biker/in ist verpflichtet, an der Talstation Sunneggaparadise oder der Gornergrat Bahn eine Startnummer zu beziehen unddiese während den gesamten Fahrten gut sichtbar zu tragen und amEnde der Abogültigkeit wieder zurück zu geben. Ohne Nummer wirdkein/e DownhillerIn befördert. Unfälle und Sachbeschädigungenwerden von mir bei einer Verkaufsstelle umgehend gemeldet.
7. Bei verlassen der markierten Strecke sind die Zermatt Bergbahnen AGoder die Gornergrat Bahn berechtigt ein Bussgeld von CHF 75.00 zuerheben. Zudem wird das Bahnticket entzogen und nicht ersetzt.

Verhaltensregeln für Biker
1. Trage immer Handschuhe und einen Helm, denn kluge Köpfeschützen sich.
2. Fahre nur mit einem technisch einwandfreien Bike. Überprüfe deinMaterial regelmässig.
3. Halte dich fit und überschätze niemals deine Fähigkeiten,beachte, dass einige Routen auf 3’000 m ü.M. führen.
4. Halte dich stets an die Strassenverkehrsordnung und benutzenur die als Bikewege eingezeichneten Wege.
5. Nimm Rücksicht auf Pflanzen und Tiere, benutze nur bestehendeStrassen und Wege.
6. Fahre nie querfeldein durch Wald und Wiesen.7. Nimm Rücksicht auf Wanderer und Fussgänger, sei freundlich und
steige wenn nötig vom Bike ab.8. Rase nie tollkühn bergab. Kommen Wanderer entgegen,
so reduziere die Geschwindigkeit auf ein angemessenes Tempo.9. Schliesse stets die Gatter und Weidezäune wieder hinter dir zu.
10. Befolge Anweisungen und Beschilderungen von Polizei, Militär undForstpersonal.
