The Best Biscuits

Ingredients

• 2 ¼ c. flour

• ¾ tsp. salt

• 1 tsp. sugar

• 4 tsp. baking powder

• 1/3 c. cold butter

• 1 c. milk

Mix flour, salt, baking powder, and sugar together in a large mixing bowl.

Cut COLD butter into small pieces.

Mix butter into flour with pastry blender.

Butter mixed into flour mixture.

Pour milk into flour mixture. Mix everything together with a spoon until just moistened.

Place dough on floured board or mat.

Press dough flat with hands to thickness of ¾ inch. Cut biscuits with biscuit cutter or top of a drinking glass.

Place biscuits on ungreased cookie sheet.

Bake at 450 degrees for 8-10 minutes, or until golden brown.
