ID&R ManualAll MEP-funded districts
must develop an ID&R plan to detail ID&R timelines, recruitment methods, strategies, etc., to be used to identify and recruit all migrant students on a year-round basis.
THE ID&R Plan must include:
Training & certification of all recruiters;A variety of strategies and activities to
actively identify and recruit all eligible migrant children in the district;
The use of a map of the district and current migrant housing lists to target all areas in which migrant families or emancipated youth are likely to reside;
Coordination/networking with local/regional organizations and agencies that provide services to migrant workers and their families;
THE ID&R Plan must include:
A safe and effective process for deploying recruiters within the district;
An effective protocol for eligibility review;
A plan for monitoring recruiters and eligibility reviewers;
THE ID&R Plan must include:
Written quality control procedures for ID&R;
Evaluate ID&R for continuous improvement of ID&R efforts;
The use of a map of the district and current areas where crops are grown and/or where fishing activities take place.
