BAC Educational Consulting
Information sheet
BAC Educational Consulting (BACEC) is a new professional service offered by the British Accreditation
Council (BAC). BAC has worked for 27 years to raise standards in and improve the public
understanding of independent further and higher education through a rigorous, inspection-based
system of institutional accreditation. BAC accreditation is today recognised the world over by
students, agents and government officials as the clearest mark of educational quality in the private
sector.
BAC Educational Consulting brings this unparalleled expertise and sector-specific focus to aconsultancy service which will help every institution to unlock its potential for providing world-class
education.
Bespoke consulting
BACEC will be offering consulting which will be tailor-made to fit the exact requirement of its clients.
The services available include one-to-one on-site consultancy, bespoke workshops and training
sessions and a telephone advisory service manned by experts in the field of independent FE and HE
provision. In the coming months BACEC will be expanding its services to include large scale
conventions.
BACEC Consultants
BAC Educational Consulting has a register of consultants who are highly experienced in the
independent further and higher education sectors. Once an assignment has been provisionally
agreed with the client, consultants with relevant experience and expertise will be contacted
regarding their availability and willingness to take on the assignment. The client will be informed of
the name or names or those consultants identified as having the best fit profile for the individual
assignment.
Where clients know of a consultant who is on the BACEC register, they may make a request for that
consultant to be approached re the assignment. However, BACEC reserves the right to suggest other
consultants who it considers to have the appropriate experience and expertise for the assignment. It
must be noted that the consulting contract will be made between the client and BACEC. BACEC will
have a separate contract for services with its consultants.
Applying for consulting services
The first step in the process is to complete the Application for consulting services form which can be
obtained by contacting [email protected] Please provide all relevant details as this will be used
as the basis for the contract and to scope out the assignment to select and brief the consultant.
