Luke 2 : 10. And the angel said unto them, Fear not: for, behold, I bring you good
tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people.
11. For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour, which is
Christ the Lord.
Luke 2:13 And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host
praising God, and saying,14. Glory to God in the highest, and on
earth peace, good will toward men.
On a night full of starshineCsillagfényes éjszakán
It was a star-filled night when the
angel cameTo Bethlehem where shepherds watched,
and proclaimedShepherds, do not be afraid,
be joyful and merryThe One that the Lord your God had
sent has come to the world:He is your salvation!
On the cold hay in the manger, the heavenly Child is sleeping.
Around him can be heard a gentle sound of singing:
The pure-hearted, pious shepherds are worshipping,
Singing thanks for the great goodness of the Lord,
They are rejoicing For His only Son
A star is brightly rising in the East, wealthy wise men see it,
They take the road quickly, bringing precious gifts.
Led by the star they find the childWith adoration and gifts they fall on their knees,
Worshipping Him as Lord.
Let us all go to his manger as well, with our hearts rejoicing,
Let us bow down at his feet with deep reverence and faith
He is God and Savior, mediator between the Father and men.He isn’t fearsome, he’s tender and mild.
He came to us as a little child,Giving us a heart-warming smile.
This Christmas season let joyful songs be heard!Young and old should sing
everywhere around the worldGlory to God, peace to men!
The night is over, the light of faith is shining! He gives salvation and life!
Luke 2:1 And it came to pass in those days, that there went out a decree from Caesar Augustus, that all the world should be taxed.
2 (And this taxing was first made when Cyrenius was governor of Syria.)
3 And all went to be taxed, every one into his own city.
4 And Joseph also went up from Galilee, out of the city of Nazareth, into Judaea, unto the city of David, which is called Bethlehem; (because he was of the house and lineage of David:)
5 To be taxed with Mary his espoused wife, being great with child.
6 And so it was, that, while they were there, the days were accomplished that she should be delivered.
7 And she brought forth her firstborn son, and wrapped him in swaddling clothes, and laid him in a manger; because there was no room for them in the inn.
Away in a manger,No crib for His bed,The little Lord Jesus
Laid down His sweet head; The stars in the heavens
Looked down where He lay,The little Lord JesusAsleep on the hay.
The cattle are lowing,The poor Baby wakes,But little Lord Jesus,No crying He makes.
I love Thee, Lord Jesus;Look down from the skyAnd stay by my cradle
Till morning is nigh.
Be near me, Lord Jesus;I ask Thee to stay
Close by me foreverAnd love me I pray!
Bless all the dear childrenIn Thy tender care,
And fit us for HeavenTo live with Thee there.
Holy Christmas NightSzent karácsony éjjel
Oh, wond’rous night full of mystery
A child with eyes blue as the sky, He is as small as a roseleaf,
The sweet Lord is born as a baby, He is sleeping in the manger
On the holy night of Christmas.
Luke 2:8 And there were in the same country shepherds abiding in the field, keeping watch over their flock by night.
9. And, lo, the angel of the Lord came upon them, and the glory of the Lord shone round about them: and they were sore afraid.
10. And the angel said unto them, Fear not: for, behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people.
11. For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour, which is Christ the Lord.
12. And this shall be a sign unto you; Ye shall find the babe wrapped in swaddling clothes, lying in a manger.
Angels We Have Heard On High
Angels we have heard on high, Sweetly singing o’er the plains,
And the mountains in reply Echo back their joyous strains.
Gloria in excelsis Deo, Gloria in excelsis Deo.
Come to Bethlehem and see Him whose birth the angels sing;
Come, adore on bended kneeChrist the Lord, the newborn King!
Gloria in excelsis Deo, Gloria in excelsis Deo.
Luke 2:13 And suddenly there was with the angel A multitude of the heavenly host praising God, and saying,
14. Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, good will toward men.

Peace on earth, and mercy mild, God and sinner reconciled”Joyful, all ye nations, rise,
Join the triumph of the skies; With the angelic host proclaim,
Christ is born in Bethlehem!”Hark! The herald angels sing, “Glory to the newborn King.”
Christ, by highest heaven adored; Christ, the Everlasting Lord!
Late in time behold Him come, Offspring of the Virgin’s womb;
Veiled in flesh the Godhead see; Hail the Incarnate Deity,
Pleased as man with men to dwell,Jesus, our Emmanuel.
Hark! The herald angels sing, “Glory to the newborn King.”
Hail the heaven-born Prince of Peace! Hail the Sun of Righteousness! Light and life to all he brings,
Risen with healing in his wings.Mild He lays His glory by,
Born that man no more may die,Born to raise the sons of earth, Born to give them second birth.Hark! The herald angels sing, “Glory to the newborn King.”
Luke 2:15 And it came to pass, as the angels were goneaway from them into heaven, the shepherds said one to another,Let us now go even unto Bethlehem, and see this thing which is come to pass, which the Lord hath made known unto us.
16. And they came with haste, and found Mary, and Joseph, and the babe lying in a manger.
17. And when they had seen it, they made known abroad the saying which was told them concerning this child.
Shepherds Watch Their Flocks
Nyájat őrző pásztorok
Shepherds watch their flocks by nightWhen heaven's light shines forth,Fulfilling the ancient prochecies
By breaking nights’ despair
Clothed in flesh our Savior cameTo the world as a humble babe.
In Jesus we receive new life.Trust in Him; Be not afraid!
Though yonder in a humble manger sleeps
This babe of gentle mein. This is the Creator
The dayspring in our darkness.
Clothed in flesh our Savior cameTo the world as a humble babe.
In Jesus we receive new life.Trust in Him; Be not afraid!
Angel voices sweetly singJesus Christ has come,
Hear all peoples of the earthGod has sent His Son.
Clothed in flesh our Savior cameTo the world as a humble babe.
In Jesus we receive new life.Trust in Him; Be not afraid!
The first Noel, the angel did say, Was to certain poor shepherds
in fields as they lay; In fields where they
lay keeping their sheep,On a cold winter’s night
that was so deep.Noel, Noel, Noel, Noel,
Born is the king of Israel.
They looked up and saw a starShining in the east,
beyond them far,And to the earth it gave great light,
And so it continued both day and night.
Noel, Noel, Noel, Noel, Born is the king of Israel.
Then let us all with one accord Sing praises to our heavenly Lord,
That hath made heaven and earth of naught, And with His blood
mankind hath bought.Noel, Noel, Noel, Noel,
Born is the king of Israel.
It came upon the midnight clear,That glorious song of old,
From angels bending near the earth To touch their harps of gold:
“Peace on the earth, goodwill to men, From heaven’s all gracious King”: The world in solemn stillness lay
To hear the angels sing.
And ye, beneath life’s crushing load, Whose forms are bending low,
Who toil along the climbing way With painful steps and slow,
Look now! For glad and golden hours Come swiftly on the wing:
O rest beside the weary road, And hear the angels sing.
For lo, the days are hastening on, By prophet bards foretold,
When, with the encircling years,Comes round the age of gold:
When peace shall over all the earth Its ancient splendors fling,
And the whole world give back the song Which now the angels sing.
John 1:10 He was in the world, and the world was made by him, and the world knew him not.
14. And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.
John 3:16, For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved
O Come all ye faithful, Joyful and triumphant,
O come ye, O come ye to Bethlehem!Come and behold Him, Born the King of angels;
O come, let us adore Him, O come, let us adore him,
O come, let us adore Him, Christ the Lord.
Child, for us sinners poor and in the manger,
We would embrace Thee, with love and awe;Who would not love Thee,
loving us so dearly?O come, let us adore Him, O come, let us adore him,
O come, let us adore Him, Christ the Lord.
Sing, choirs of angels, Sing in exultation! O sing, all ye bright hosts of heaven above;
Glory to God, all Glory in the highest.O come, let us adore Him, O come, let us adore him,
O come, let us adore Him, Christ the Lord.
Yea, Lord, we greet Thee, Born this happy morning,
Jesus, to Thee be all glory given;Word of the Father, Now in flesh appearing;
O come, let us adore Him, O come, let us adore him,
O come, let us adore Him, Christ the Lord.
