5. AXA Bank Europe
AXA Bank Europe 5
AXA Bank Europe is a challenger on the Belgian banking market focusing on a simple
and transparent retail offer in savings (ranked 6th on the Belgian market) and mortgage
credits (ranked 5th on the Belgian market).
15bn Euro retail savings portfolio is being reinvested in the Belgian economy through
15bn Euro of mortgage and personal loans to Belgian families, independents and very
small enterprises.
Because of recurrent low profitability on the Belgian market over the last few years, AXA
Bank Europe has launched early 2014 a transformation plan for the retail bank focusing
on proximity to its customers, a simplified and transparent product offer and an improved
customer experience leaning on a strong locally embedded network of independent
brokers and digital servicing tools
