With conference lecturers and surgical topics receiving an average rating of 98% on post-conference evaluations, attendees of the annual ASPS Surgical Conference receive top-notch, comprehensive surgical education, with member registration fees 33% less than other organizations. Save the date for the 6th Annual ASPS Surgical Conference which is being held September 21 – 22, 2018 in Cleveland, OH. This is a Continuing Education event. Free ASPS Surgical Webinars. Wanting to expand the reach of ASPS’ exceptional surgical education, the ASPS Board of Directors and the ASPS Education Committee committed to affording the membership continuous access to ASPS’ expert lecturers. In March, ASPS launched the ASPS Surgical Webinar Series featuring Dr. Jeffrey Lehrman hosting his lecture on coding First Ray procedures. Since March, these webinars have been held monthly with record attendance. ASPS Surgical Webinars allow for Q&A with the lecturer, and are recorded and placed on the ASPS website the day after the live webinar. Additionally, ASPS members have exclusive access to the webinar recordings made available on the ASPS website. Leadership Opportunities. ASPS relies upon its members to help shape the organization. We strongly encourage all members to get involved; whether it be running for the ASPS Board of Directors, lecturing at an ASPS Continuing Education event, serving on an ASPS committee, or hosting a surgical webinar. In January of 2017, ASPS introduced the ASPS Member Spotlight. Supporting APMA & Young Physicians. As the recognized surgical affiliate, ASPS continues to work closely with APMA. In addition to providing a surgical lecture track at the APMA National, ASPS is once again hosting the Young Physician & ASPS Member Reception at the APMA National. Additionally, ASPS is excited to host a hands-on cadaveric workshop for the young physicians attending APMA’s Young Physician Institute.
