In Memory OfArlen B. "Oop" Foster
November 30, 1940 - November 23, 2014
“Let me tell you folksWho have gathered here today
That I’m proud and thankful for a cowboyWho has just passed away
I know it’s hardBut, please don’t cry
Fer now he’s ridin’ Gods trailsHigh up in the sky
The hoss he’s ridin now Don’t spook, buck or kick
Fer God stables perfect horsesAnd now he has his pick
Lord, please forgive him of all his sinsFer he hasn’t been perfect
But I know that he who believes in YouForever wins!
He has lived a good lifeA cowboys dream come true
Thank You Lord,Fer now he’s ready to ride into eternity
Him, his horse, and You.”
