Our college NSS department provides sweets for orphan boys on the occasion of Raksha

For bringing a awareness about the various social issues. Our cultural activity department
performed Path Nattya (Street plays) in Karad city and surrounding villages i.e Sakurdi, Tambave
and Mhopre.
Organized a Tree Plantation Programme in College digging pits for tree plantation in July, 2016.
College has celebrated International Yog Diwas.
Our college students participated in Chatra-Police Mitra scheme during year 2016-17
Organized a lecture by Prohibition Sexual Harassment committee on “ Mahila Vishayak Kayade”
Chief Guest :- Mr. A. M. Sawant (Assit. Judge Karad) and Mr. R. T. Ghogale (Assit. Judge
Karad)
Under National Service Scheme a special camp was organised from 28/01/2017 to 3/02/2017 at
Mhopre. In this camp students did various types of work i.e Village cleanliness drive, Tree
Plantation, Road Construction, teaching in Primary School and high school Swachhya Bharat
Abhiyan etc.
College has organized One Day workshop on “Cashless Economy” With the help of Bank Of
Maharashtra Branch Karad. Chief Guest : Ahilji Thorat(AGM, Bank of Maharashtra) and
Mr. Nitin Pandit (Branch Manager) Resource Person Mr. Nitin Borase.

Internal Complain Committee organized a One Day Workshop on „Mahila Vishayak Kayde‟
Dated on – 27 Feb, 2017. Chef Guest was Advocate D. R. Patil.
Sachetana Mandal and students personality committee organize girls health checkup camp on

the goals of our institution, our college does have its own set of following goals -To provide

and the rural area surrounding Karad town .

Best Practices – 2016-17 Dyan Sadhana
1. Introduction –
To encourage students to get acquainted with different competitive examinations, this
focused regular activity is under taken .it helps the students to be curious about different
competitive examinations, syllabi, questions papers and schedule of those exams.
2. Aim or objectives -
1. To initiate students to know about competitive exams.
2. To prepare their mind set for appearing such examinations.
3. To guide them for the studies.
4. To create atmosphere in the college for competitive exams.
3. Context-
To bring this „Dyan Sadhana‟ activity in reality, the college designed a course
“competitive examinations foundation course”. F.Y.B.A. 309 students were admitted in this
course. This syllabi designed an accordingly class were conducted at the end of the academic
year the exam was conducted 167 students appeared for the exam. And the students 8 in
Distinction, 12 in First Class , 43 Second Class, 57 in Pass Class and 47 are Failed.
The Alumni Associations of the college conducted Quiz competitions. Forty Four students
participated in these quiz competitions.

Street Play 7-1 (B)
1. Introduction-
‘Street Play‟ is a powerful media to speared the messages in the society. To educate
rural folk against „Female Feticide‟ and „Dowry‟, our students performed the streets plays in
three village and the Karad City the plays were scripted by Prof. Dilipkumar Mohite.
2. Aims and objectives-
A. To create awareness among the villagers against social evils like „Female
Feticide‟ and „Dowry‟
B. To imbibe the equality states of the females in a society.
C. To develop personality and stage daring of students.
3.Contex-
The street plays “Stree Shikashan” , “Varsanshodhan” and “Stree Bhrunhatya”
were enacted in three places of karad city, at S.T. Bus stand, Azad Chowk, Chawadi Chowk
and three villeges named Tambave, Mhopre and Sakurdi. 15 Students and 5 teachers carrid
out this best practice under the grinds of Vice Principal Dr. J.A. Mhetre and Principal Dr.
J.S.Patil.
