Andrew D. Klein (46) – founder, chairman and chief executive officer – Andy has started four businesses, including the first Internet investment bank (Wit Capital) and the largest distributor of U.S. independent equity research (Soleil Securities.) Most recently he was a co-founder of SkyBridge Capital, a hedge fund incubation fund that has a strategic relationship with the private investment company of Michael S. Dell. He is a graduate of Harvard Law School and Brandeis University.

Thed Lenssen (57) – executive creative director – Thed is one of Europe’s most highly acclaimed commercial directors. He has directed commercials for Heineken, Philips, Volkswagen and many others. Many of his commercials have received awards from the major advertising festivals around the world. Thed founded and has operated The-D Films and Snoep Films, both Amsterdam based production companies. Prior to starting in commercial production, Thed was a fashion photographer. He studied fine arts at St. Joost College of Art.

Valerie Taylor (46) – senior executive vice president – Valerie is a senior new media and advertising executive with a strong international profile. She successfully established PMG through a managed buy-out from Hewlett Packard and operated as a senior executive at ITT corporation, Young & Rubicam (WPP), and Draftworldwide (Interpublic group.) Valerie has been an executive in residence with Ariadne Capital since 2003. She has an MBA from University of Bradford and a B.A. from University of South Africa. She has also studied at INSEAD and London Business School.

Bill Wirt (47) – chief technology officer – Bill is a seasoned information technology executive. Prior to joining Spotzer, he was Corporate Vice President, Information Technology at Verio. He helped grow Verio into a tier-one ISP and the world’s largest web hosting company. Verio was sold to NTT for $5.5 billion dollars in 2000. Previously Bill was Director of Business Information Systems at Nextel. Funded by Craig McCaw, Bill led the IT software development division and helped build Nextel into the first US nationwide digital wireless communications company, which was ultimately acquired by Sprint for $38 billion. Bill holds a MSc from Stanford University Graduate School of Business, and a BA from San Francisco State University.

Paul Montoya (44) - senior executive vice President - Paul is a senior finance and marketing professional. Prior to joining Spotzer, he was VP of Marketing for the Enterprise Hosting Group at Verio and also regional CFO for its Northern California investments. Paul was integral to Verio’s strategy and product innovation helping the company differentiate their ISP/shared hosting provider business into a world class enterprise hosting offering. Previously, Paul held positions in finance and administration positions at Bank of America and Union Bank of California. He holds a B.A. from Stanford University.

Piet Hein Kerkhof (33) – vice president, European sales – Piet has seven years experience managing online advertising sales teams. He has served as country manager for Yahoo! Netherlands and previously held a similar position, and before that was sales manager, at Kelkoo Netherlands, an online comparison shopping and advertising platform which was acquired by Yahoo! in 2004. Piet studied Political Science at the University of Amsterdam.

Rick Klein (63) vice president, US sales Rick has more than thirty years experience in local ad sales and recruiting. Mr. Klein worked as a consultant for five years helping Monster Worldwide build its local sales operation across the US. Prior to that he worked for five years managing and funding the company that became Worldpages.com, where he served as president of the organization. From 1976 to 1996 Rick held a series of executive positions with TMP Worldwide, including president of TMP West for 12 years. He attended Florida State and is a graduate of Fairleigh Dickinson University.

Andrew D. Klein (46) – Andy is the founder, chairman and, as of October 1, 2006, the chief executive officer of Spotzer Media Group.

Alexander Cohen (59) – Lex is one of Europe’s most accomplished yellow page industry executives. From 2003 until his retirement in 2006 he was CEO of European Directories, a Euro 600 million revenue, pan-European directory services group holding the leading market position in the Netherlands, Austria, Denmark, Finland, Czech Republic and Slovakia and a strong presence is Sweden, Poland and Gibraltar. Prior to that he was CEO of Wegener Direct Marketing International, Managing Director of Gouden Gids B.V., the main competitor of De Telefoongids. Mr. Cohen is a graduate from Nyenrode Business University in the Netherlands, as well from University of Puget Sound in Tacoma and obtained an MBA from Thunderbird in Glendale. He lives in Amsterdam.

Tijo van Marle (65) – Tijo is an accomplished investment banker and financial services entrepreneur. From 1984 to 2001, Mr. van Marle was a managing director at Credit Suisse First Boston in London and Amsterdam. Prior to that, he worked as an investment banker at Pierson, Heldring & Pierson in Amsterdam (1967 to 1972) and at J. Henry Schroder Wagg & Co. (1972 to 1984.) He is currently a founder and managing partner of Theta Capital, an Amsterdam based asset management firm. Mr. van Marle obtained an MBA from Harvard Business School. He lives in Amsterdam.

Oscar Ruiz (45) – Oscar is an accomplished Internet entrepreneur with extensive experience running companies. Since 2000 he has been the chief executive officer of Spanish Internet service provider Prodigios Interactivos, a company he co-founded. From 2001 to 2004 Prodigios Interactivos was majority owned by AOL and Banco Santander and operated under the name AOL Spain. Previously, Mr. Ruiz was chief financial officer of Sol Melia, one of the world’s largest hotel and resort companies. Mr. Ruiz started his career (1986 to 1993) as an investment banker with Credit Suisse First Boston in New York and London. He also ran the London office of MG Global Capital, a private equity firm. He is a graduate of Harvard Law School and the University of Madrid and a former member of the board of directors of Sol Melia and Pressence Technology, a call center software company. He lives in Majorca.

Pim Schmitz (38) – Pim is an accomplished investment bank and private equity investor. He currently serves as head of private equity at Cyrte Investments B.V, (formerly Talpa Capital B.V.) which he first joined as an investment manager in 2003. Previously, Mr Schmitz worked in various corporate finance capacities at ABN Amro Bank from 1995 to 2003. Mr. Schmitz holds an MBA from Erasmus University.
