Colour can be broadly defined as the effect on the

brain of an observer when an object is viewed in

presence of a light source.

WHITE BLACK BLUE RED GREEN YELLOW

Textile Psychology : Shape, Colour, HandleMan’s colour perception is especially pronounced. With textiles, clear, deep and brilliant colours are regarded as particularly beautiful and superior.

Furthermore, the first grasp helps us to further assess textiles. Depending on the application and function of textiles, we expect fluffy softness or supple elegance.

Visual perception is the sense providing the most information. The first impression of shape and colour influences our attitude towards all objects.

A brilliant, deep colour impression depends on fibre, the type and quantity of dyestuffs and dyeing processes, but also on optimized finishes.

Staple fibre articles, especially of cellulosic textiles, the surface of which has been mechanically stressed during finishing, do not show an optimum colour depth with full dyeings.

In this connection optimum finishing means to not only smooth out textile surfaces mechanically but also “optically”. The precondition is the formation of closed, wash-resistant silicone films on textiles.

Amplify-BLACK optimizes “optical smoothing” through the synergy of the structure or chain length of silicone oil polymers used and the purposefully induced distribution of silicone oil droplets when emulsifying.

The result is a powerful, state-of-the-art and process-stable silicone softener.

oThe colour impression of textiles is based on the absorption and reflection of certain wave lengths of ambient light striking. With ideal jet-black all wave-lengths are completely absorbed, no light is reflected. This is where the effects of Amplify-BLACK come in due to a double mechanism : oThe surface of textiles or individual fibres becomes considerably smoother, which leads to less light scatter. Colour brightening is restrained and the colour impression becomes more intensive. oThe refractive index on textile surfaces is reduced by silicone polymers. With multiple phase systems (air – silicone – yarn, i.e. individual fibres / fibrils) the distance of light from entering to leaving the textile is extended. On its longer distance through the textile, light encounters more dyestuff molecules and is thus better absorbed. Textiles, as a consequence, absorb more light and thus appear significantly darker.

Distinct intensification of colour and brilliance of deep dyeings.

Ultra-soft, peaches like handle.

Excellent wash resistance.

Excellent elastic resilience .

Highly effective & free of chalk or nail mark.

Reduced tendency to dyestuff migration on PES fabric and thus better fastness levels.

Preferably applied in pad processes & suitable for polyester & cellulosics fabrics.
