they’re back! The Division of Student Affairs is pleased to announce the return of the University of California, Berkeley Achievement and Spot awards.
The current program will run from April 1, 2012 to June 30, 2012 (awards will reflect work done during the 2011-12 fis-cal year) and consist of $1,000 and $400 awards. A new pro-gram will start July 1, 2012. Student Affairs is revising the process for Achievement Awards and will develop a new, higher award limit for the 2012-13 fiscal year based on the UCOP Staff Appreciation and Recognition Program (STAR).
The Achievement Award program ($1,000) will be adminis-tered by the Student Affairs Employee Engagement Team. This award is designed to promote superior performance and reward measurably significant contributions to the de-partment and division’s mission and goals.
The Spot Award program ($400) will be administered in the
local departments and be given to employees who dem-onstrate inspired service to students/clients and to their department’s goals and mission. Submit Achievement Award nomination forms to Employee Engagement Chairperson Lance Page.
ObjectiveThe Berkeley Campus Achievement and Spot Award en-ables supervisors and managers to recognize superior performance and special accomplishments of non-repre-sented staff employees.
