Narrative Writing Prompt - Write a personal narrative about your year in second grade. Use your comic strip drawing to help you.
Include these parts in your narrative writing:
Introduction - Get the reader’s attention! Use sound words, ask a question, describe the setting, or describe a feeling.
Events - Tell the reader what happened. Be sure to put the events in order.
Details - Describe what is happening. How are you feeling? What are the characters saying? Use adjectives and strong verbs.
Conclusion - Bring your writing to a close. Tell the reader how you feel. Ask a question. End with something funny or a lesson you learned.
