KAYAKING AND STAND UP PADDLINGOur catamarans come equipped with steady ocean kayaks, giving our guests ac-cess to secluded and hidden stretches of coastline.

Take some drinks and relax in a secluded cove with a loved one, or go for an ener-getic paddle while exploring the coast.

Onboard our Luxury and Flagship Class yachts, you can also enjoy stand up pad-dling, as SUP-boards are available for the enjoyment and fun of all guests.

13

SNORKELINGOne of the great joys of sailing is not what you can see above the waves, but what you can see below. Snorkeling opens up a wondrous undersea world – reefs teeming

with marine life, exotic species of fish, and brilliant fan corals swaying gently in the current.

All TradeWinds vessels come equipped with complimentary snorkeling gear for our guests, and you do not need to be a certified diver to enjoy this exciting activity.

14

Experience the thrill of the catch while on board your catamaran. We have fishing equipment so you can try your luck at anchor or while sailing.

FISHINGThere is nothing quite like a just-caught fish, fresh from the sea and grilled on board on our barbeque – or you may even ask the chef to prepare some ultra-fresh sashimi.

14

15

HIKING AND BEACH COMBINGTradeWinds itineraries include a variety of opportunities to explore on land as well as at sea. Many of our destinations offer incredible hiking trails, some which lead high into the hills for breathtaking views,

others into small villages, giving you the chance to connect with locals. Jog along a deserted beach, practice yoga by the sea, or hunt for shells and feel the sand beneath your feet.

15

Just ask your Captain to steer you in the right direction, go ashore and explore.

NewCruising Class

The introduction of new Cruising Class sailing catamarans into the Club started in 2012, with the addition of a Lagoon 500 and subsequently three TradeWinds 50s to the fl eet.

After years of discussions and planning together with Fountaine Pajot and their design teams, we then welcomed the arrival of a yet another new model of yachts to our fl eet in 2015, the TradeWinds 52. This innovative, modern catamaran uses ideas

and interior design aspects of the highly successful Luxury Class TradeWinds 59.

Now the new benchmark for Cruising Class sailing with TradeWinds, it will continue to replace our original fl eet of yachts.

39ABACOS, THE BAHAMAS

With 29 islands, 661 cays and nearly 2,400 islets, The Bahamas is truly a sailor’s paradise steeped in both history and lore.

The Bahamian base for this adventure is located on Great Abaco Island at Marsh Harbor, and serves as the gateway to the stellar sailing grounds the islands offer. The

Abacos chain is formed in a boomerang shape and stretches nearly 130 miles from Walkers Cay in the north, to Hole-in-the-Wall in the south. The islands lie roughly

175 miles east of Palm Beach, Florida, and 106 miles north of Nassau, and are easily reached due to its proximity to the US east coast.

39

SOCIETY ISLANDS, FRENCH POLYNESIAFrench Polynesia has captured the imagination of artists and adventurers for centuries. Fletcher Christian and his crew were so transfixed by the languorous life here that they led the mutiny on the

Bounty in 1789; French artist Gauguin also created his seminal works of art on these shores.

Aqua-colored lagoons, teeming with marine life, surround the reef-fringed islands of the region, and the ecosystem—roughly the size of Europe—is one of the most diverse and unique in the world.

40

TradeWinds base is located in the Society Islands, the group which includes Bora Bora, Raiatea, Taha’a, and Huahine.

41

41ANTIGUA

Antigua is internationally known for Anti-gua Sailing Week, an annual regatta that attracts world-class yachts from around the globe. The island has a number of har-bors that have long made it popular with

sailors—English Harbour on the Southeast side offers safe refuge even in stormy con-ditions. The former home of Lord Horatio Nelson, visitors will notice signs of its illus-trious naval history everywhere.

The island is surrounded by a ring of pro-tective coral reefs, making it a sought af-ter destination for snorkelers. Underwater cliffs and sunken wrecks attract scuba en-thusiasts.

Although Antigua is a popular spot with visitors, it still maintains a genuinely re-laxed Caribbean atmosphere.

41

ST. MARTIN/ST. MAARTEN, ANGUILLA AND ST. BARTHSThe French heritage of St. Martin—on the “French side” —is especially evident in the fine dining establishments that offer some of the best French food in the Caribbean. St. Maarten on the “Dutch side” is lively,

with great duty free shopping, casinos and a bustling downtown center.

Anguilla: Located just off the coast of St. Martin, the tiny island of Anguilla boasts

spectacular and ecologically important coral reefs and beaches. It is surrounded by a number of small islands and cays, many of which are uninhabited.

St. Barths: The name is synonymous with luxury. Home of the international jet set, it brings to mind extravagant parties, late nights and plenty of champagne.

42

43

43BRITISH VIRGIN ISLANDS

The British Virgin Islands (BVIs) is a paradise of over 60 small islands, many of which are uninhabited. The four largest islands are Tortola, Virgin Gorda, Anegada and Jost

Van Dyke. Sailing through this archipelago, one is struck by the astonishing diversity of the islands, as each one has its own unique character.

The BVIs are a sailors dream come true, with quiet beaches, secluded moorings and incredible diving and snorkeling sites. Guests can go ashore and hike to tiny

restaurants offering cold beer, or stay on board the boat and appreciate feeling truly away.

43

ST. VINCENT & THE GRENADINESDo you ever dream about finding a com-pletely authentic corner of the world, un-touched by “Big Tourism” or crowds of people? St. Vincent and the Grenadines is such a place.

A cluster of islands in the south eastern Caribbean, strewn across an impossibly turquoise-colored area of ocean, they will redefine how you think about the region.

Sailors and snorkelers the world over dream of one day visiting the Tobago Cays Marine Park to swim with rays, turtles and schools of brightly colored tropical fish, and this is

of course included in your Grenadines sail.

Prepare yourself to be blown away by the vibrancy and colors of this island group!

44

45

45GUADELOUPE, FRENCH ANTILLES

Situated in the heart of the French West Indies, the Guadeloupean islands sailing offers a taste of France in a distinctly Caribbean setting. With both long and

short sails to the nearby islands of Les Saintes, Marie-Galante and Petite Terre, the itinerary offers a variety of activities from land excursions to snorkeling around the

Cousteau Marine Reserve in Ilet Pigeon.

The prevailing trade winds that blow across the region make this department

of France a prime sailing destination in the Caribbean.

45

BOCAS DEL TORO, PANAMAThe simplicity and tranquility of the Bocas del Toro archipelago is infectious, with many TradeWinds’ guests taking the opportunity to completely unplug from their day-to-day lives while visiting the

islands. There is nothing to distract you from enjoying the beaches, coral reefs and clear waters of the many islands and islets that make up the region.

The friendly inhabitants of the Ngobe Indian villages on the islands may visit you, in their hand-made canoes, providing an insight in to their way of life and how they share the islands with its many species,

including the endangered three-toed sloth.

On your Bocas del Toros experience, you’ll be on one of the very few yachts sailing these waters.

46

47

47PLACENCIA, BELIZE

47

A wonderland of miles upon miles of coral-studded cays, and one of the few places in the world where you regularly encounter the world’s largest fi sh, the Whale Shark. Inland, other adventures await you with

jungle rivers, pristine rainforests and ancient Mayan ruins to tempt you to spend extra time here.

The sailing itinerary brims with beauty and

unspoiled sights. The sheer naturalness of the lush southern Belizean coast brings out the adventure traveler in you. The snorkeling and scuba diving is simply awesome! We recommend that you add

some days onto your weeks cruise to discover the delights of Belize, perhaps staying at one of our associated resorts or Robert’s Grove, located at our yachting base.

ORHANIYE, TURKEY

48

Turkey offers just about everything, from luxury shopping and world-class restaurants in Istanbul, to the ruins of ancient castles and sandy beaches—which all showcase the contrast between Turkey’s

past and its vibrant contemporary present.

During your week aboard, visit peaceful fishing villages in stunning bays, snorkel in crystal-clear waters—a myriad of

fascinating sea life awaits. The surrounding region is renowned for its rich harvest of almonds, fragrant herbs and delicious pine honey.

Bring your walking shoes, for there are plenty of opportunities to explore the remains of ancient cities.

49

49LEFKAS, GREECE

Secluded bays, rugged cliffs and crystalline water: this is Lefkas—TradeWinds’ base in Greece. A sail through the Ionian Islands offers an itinerary packed with authentic

harbors, idyllic coves and towering mountains adorned with cascades of bougainvillea.

From our base in Sivota, this itinerary will take you to some of the most remarkable villages in all of Greece. With modern amenities easily accessible throughout the

voyage, this blend of old and new offers a true mesh of culture and history.

CIRCUMNAVIGATE WITH

WANDERLUST

One of TradeWinds’ most exciting projects—a circumnavigation of the globe—is cur-rently underway and is expected to span a period of over seven years.

Wanderlust, our TradeWinds 59 adventure vessel was launched in May of 2012, when the journey began in La Rochelle, France. Wanderlust then spent a season in the Canary Islands before crossing the Atlantic and Pacific Oceans to reach French Polynesia in 2013.

Her voyage has since been expanded to include the Bay of Islands in New Zealand and the Kingdom of Tonga in 2014, after which Wanderlust added two Australian destinations to its journey, beginning with Sydney, and thereafter the Whitsunday Islands later in 2015.

Members and guests are able to make reservations on Wanderlust, in order to partake in this ultimate adventure. TradeWinds sends out regular updates, announcing the release of future cruising dates, booking availabilities and information about the Wanderlust voyage progress, to all current Members.

While dates and destinations may need to change along the way (subject to political, legal and natural occurrences), our TradeWinds staff and crew will ensure that the circumnavigation continues its adventure successfully.

5656

57

Back in 2013 and 2014, we tried in vain to get permission from the authorities in Fiji to sail in their pristine waters, so that you as Members could come and enjoy this “paradise-on-earth” location.

After numerous attempts, we had to give up and with sadness exclude this destination from the original Wanderlust itinerary. Since then, we have been in continuous contact with the maritime authorities there, and we have now found a way to finally be able to offer you this incredibly exciting destination!

As this is a very unique and special privilege, we have decided to stay here a bit longer than the typical period that Wanderlust normally bases herself at a location, in order to give as many TradeWinds Members as possible the chance to experience this marvellous place. Starting in April 2016 we will be offering an extended 18 month period of cruising in this beautiful location for the pleasure of our Members and their guests.

Wanderlust will be based at the Denarau Marina on the main island of Viti Levu, and the area that we will be sailing in this nation of over 800 islands and islets are the Yasawa and Mamanuca Islands.

This dream-like part of the world was originally planned as being cruised on two different coasts, at different times in the year as part of our circumnavigation program. However, due to logistical and legal reasons, we have now arranged for you to get the best of both worlds, in one cruise instead!

MALAYSIA& THAILAND

Based on the west coast of Thailand and mainland Malaysia is the wondrous region framed by the islands of Phuket in the north and Langkawi to the south, with the northern part of the cruise in Thai waters and the southern part of the journey taking place in Malaysia.

To get the full value of such a fantastic journey through this magical area, we have also extended this cruise to a 10-day voyage, instead of the traditional 7-day cruise. It will be offered as “one-way” voyages, with the first of every two trips commencing in Phuket and ending in Langkawi, and every second one doing the

For this journey onboard Wanderlust, we will cruise among the beauty of the stunningly exotic islands known as “The Jewels of the Andaman Sea”. The cruising grounds off the east coast of the island of

Phuket are known as amongst the finest anywhere: from the towering pinnacles of limestone jutting out from the emerald coloured waters of Phang-Nga Bay to the famous Phi Phi Islands.

More than 130 picturesque isles lie within the province of Krabi alone, and the

offshore marine preserves in both Thailand and Malaysia are internationally famous as one of the world’s top scuba diving sites.

DREAMCATCHER IN THE EXUMAS,

BAHAMAS

With sapphire-blue water everywhere, The Exumas chain of 365 cays and islands beginning just 35 miles southeast of Nassau represents an exotic collection of dreamy impressions. Its footprint-free beaches and ultra-exclusive homes make this tropical paradise an absolute gem. Here, nature outnumbers man, coastlines remain flawless and private homes play host to some of the world’s most famous stars. The Exumas truly are the ultimate escape.

Once called Yumey and Suma (names of Amer-Indian origin), the islands have gone through many changes over the years. Today, they’re divided into three major areas: Great Exuma, Little Exuma and The Exuma Cays. Each offers its own unique Bahamian experience. Great Exuma and Little Exuma are known for their laid-back surroundings, while The Exuma Cays act as a playground for the rich and famous.

It is here that we have based our Power Catamaran DreamCatcher for the year of 2018, where she will deliver unique adventures in a new destination to be pioneered by our Members.

PANAMA ADVENTURES

THE SAN BLAS ARCHIPELAGO

The 378 islands of the San Blas Archipelago are strung out along the Caribbean coast of Panama, where only 49 of them are inhabited by the indigenous Kuna Indians.

In the spring of 2013, we pioneered an adventure trip to visit these islands, and the comments from the guests were so overwhelmingly positive that we wanted to share this experience with more of our Members and guests. Therefore, we have decided to offer this “lifestyle charter” on a shared basis to all TradeWinds Members. On selected dates you will be able to explore these fantastic islands with us. Jungle exploration, river tubing and hiking up the trails to the active hot springs of the volcanoes are only a few of the options

Stunning beaches, rain forested mountains where wild monkeys abound, steeped in history, this is an adventure you will not regret to have embarked upon!

LAND & SEA

Over the years, some of our guests and Members have told us how great it would be if there was a TradeWinds offer which would combine sailing with some land-based time as well. Well, we listened…

We are now happy to offer a weekly package which consists of four nights at our little boutique hotel at Bequia Marina at TradeWinds’ Grenadines base and three nights onboard a Cruising Class catamaran sailing the Grenadines, including spending time in the breathtaking Tobago Cays Marine Park.

A great way to get the best of both worlds, and also a fantastic way to introduce friends and family that are not yet fully aware of the magic that awaits them out there on the sea!

LET’S GO!

TradeWinds has developed three diff erent ways to sail to help you make the most of your membership. Whether you book out a single cabin on a shared charter, or rent out a whole vessel for you and a group of friends, TradeWinds can arrange the type of trip you’re looking for.

In the following pages, we will explain how to:

• Use your Plus Points• Book Late Breaks• Refer Members to TradeWinds

Let’s go!

84

We hope that you agree with us that as a TradeWinds Member, there are so many exciting experiences available for you to enjoy! In order to simplify the process of booking, we have created our own internal currency: TradeWinds Plus Points (PP).

As a Member, you will have purchased a fixed number of points from us. To use them is simple, as it works just like a regular bank account. The PP you have in your PP account can be used for bookings now, or you can save them for later usage.

There are very few restrictions of usage. In theory, you could use all your points for one big event (like a big birthday celebration, booking two or three full yachts for a week or two), or take it slower and use them over time. One year you will book more vacation time, and then perhaps over a few years, reserve space at a lower pace. This is where the flexibility of our program really helps you to plan into the future.

Lots of sailing, or just the occasional adventure, it’s all up to you! Once you decide where and when you want to go, you can book sailing directly on our Members site, where you can check for availability, reserve space and find helpful information on the experiences we offer. Alternatively, you may contact our reservation team for assistance by email

PLUS POINTSBOOKINGS

84

85

or phone. Please just make sure that your maintenance fee payment relating to the PP reservation that you want to make is up to date – then you are ready to go!

In case you run out of PP at any stage, please make your crew aware of this on your next cruise, as they will help you with that. The pricing structure of our PP is really quite simple: the more PP you purchase at any one time, the less expensive it is per point.

So, if you already know now that you will want to do a lot of sailing with TradeWinds, consider the package that best suits your needs. The crew onboard our yachts will be more than happy to assist you with any question you might have relating to your PP account.

Whether you wish to come sailing with us or book a land based vacation using your points, please contact us to book your dream vacation!

Over the next two pages, you will fi nd further exciting alternatives of how to book sailing with us. These options will not cost you any points at all. In fact, you might earn some instead …

86

LATE BREAKS You can gain enormous additional value from your TradeWinds Membership, if your schedule allows you a certain flexibility.

Late Breaks are cabins available 45 days or less from departure date and they will not cost you a single PP.

Flagship, Luxury & Cruising Class Available to TradeWinds Members, upon payment of maintenance fee and all-inclusive fee.

Only TradeWinds Members qualify for Late Breaks, and these are not transferrable.

Check the Members-only website, advertising late breaks!

Reservations can be made through our reservations team, so book as many of these great offers as you can and get even more out of your TradeWinds Membership!
