Letter from the President 2016Dear Brethren and Friends:
The Board of Directors of the Masonic Charity Foundation of Oklahoma is pleased to have the opportunity to guide charitable efforts on behalf of the Fraternity. In 2014, the Foundation distributed over $3.9 million in charitable distributions. These funds provided a wide range of charitable and educational benefits to Oklahomans from all walks of life, including our Masonic past and future through endowments established to provide continuing preservation of the historic Guthrie and McAlester Scottish Rite temples.
We are thrilled to see continued growth in the number of lives Masonic charity touches, thanks to effective partnerships with Prevent Blindness Oklahoma (PBO), the Oklahoma Association of Area Agencies on Aging (O4A), and over 200 Oklahoma Masonic Lodges. In 2014, Prevent Blindness professionals and Masonic volunteer screeners celebrated the screening of the 3 millionth child as part of the school vision screening program. Thousands of Oklahoma senior citizens received assistance from O4A programs thanks to funding totaling $727,040.48 provided by Foundation programs. A satellite office of the Alzheimer’s Association was established in Enid with a $175,000 grant from the Masonic Charity Foundation of Oklahoma.
The Fraternity continues to demonstrate a passion for public education with the establishment of new $50,000 endowments at Northern Oklahoma College and Tulsa Community College, and ongoing financial support of Payne Education Center, the State Superintendent’s Arts Excellence Awards, the Oklahoma State Teacher of the Year program, and the Fraternity’s own Senior Essay competition and Student and Teacher of Today programs.
Lodges continue to provide service to their members and communities in every corner of the state with the Matching Funds and Promises Matter programs. In 2014, we expended $1,671,102 in Matching Funds for charitable and/or educational causes in Oklahoma, resulting in over $3,342,204 infused into communities as a result of lodge fundraising efforts in 2014 alone. Over $60,000 in Promises Matter Grants were provided to Masons, their widows, and members of the Order of the Eastern Star.
We were exceptionally blessed in 2014 to nearly double our Education Endowment Fund. This fund provides scholarships for members of the Masonic Youth Orders, and was nearly doubled by an endowed gift of over $1.5 million in bequest by William and Marilyn Cammack. The Cammack’s gift honors their personal legacy of generosity and guarantees that the Youth Order Scholarship Program will continue to provide for Oklahoma Masonic Youth. From this fund, scholarships totaling over $140,000 were distributed to Youth Order members.
The many good works of the Foundation are made possible by your support. Each donation we receive is permanently endowed to honor the lasting legacy created by our donors. We hope each individual who has contributed to this common goal of Masonic charity is proud of our results. We are your Foundation and with your contribution we will continue to make our communities a better place.
The Masonry In Action Award was introduced to recognize lodges that utilize Foundation programs at an exceptional level. This award is a reminder of the important partnership between the Foundation and Oklahoma lodges. Altus Lodge #62 and Stroud Lodge #142 received this award for works in 2014 and commemorated the honor with gifts totaling $10,000 to public schools and volunteer fire departments in their local communities.
We hope you will take pride in the efforts of the Fraternity, the Masonic Charity Foundation, and Oklahoma lodges. On behalf of the Board of Directors and the staff of our Foundation, I want to thank you for your support. With your help we will continue to advance the mission of Masonic charity in Oklahoma.
Sincerely and fraternally,
Charles L. StuckeyPresident

Roll of Honor / Memorials Donation OpportunitiesThe Foundation receives donations in several different ways. Some donors send money direct to the Masonic Charity Foundation of Oklahoma, P. O. Box 2406, Edmond, OK 73083. Donations are received in letters or Business Reply Envelopes for general donations, Memorials and Honorariums, etc. Also, online donations can be made on the www.mcfok.org website using a credit card or Pay Pal.
Gifts to the Foundation made by Will are a popular way of building tomorrow. The gift is given only when you have no further need for the money and there is no danger that you might “run short.” It is a perpetual gift as well, because the funds are invested and only the interest used to support the programs you have read about in these pages. Here is some suggested language to discuss with your lawyer when making a gift to the Foundation by Will:
To leave a specific amount to the Foundation:
I hereby give and bequeath to the Masonic Charity Foundation of Oklahoma, an Oklahoma charitable corporation, or its successors, the sum of $_____________________.
To leave specific Personal Property to the Foundation:
I hereby give and bequeath to the Masonic Charity Foundation of Oklahoma, an Oklahoma charitable corporation, or its successors, the following personal property, to wit: (Description of Property)
To leave specific Real Estate to the Foundation:
I hereby give and bequeath to the Masonic Charity Foundation of Oklahoma, an Oklahoma charitable corporation, or its successors, the following described real property located in ___________ County, State of ____________, to wit: (Description of Property)
To leave certain amounts to Others and Everything Left Over to the Foundation:
I hereby give, devise, and bequeath all of the rest and residue of the property which I may own or have any interest in at the time of my death, whether real, personal or mixed, to the Masonic Charity Foundation of Oklahoma, an Oklahoma charitable corporation, or its successors, without conditions or restrictions.
