EQUIPMENT SIZING GUIDEProper fit. It’s a really simple concept but very hard to do right. Above all, proper fit is paramount for protective equipment. Without proper fit, risk of injury and discomfort greatly increase. With so many catchers of different shapes and sizes, it is a must that we develop gear which can be individually customized to ensure proper fit. Our gear works with the player, not against. With fit properly dialed in, a player can direct all focus to the game and not a chest protector which keeps dropping too low.

CHEST PROTECTOR SIZING + FITTING:

All-Star® chest protectors are measured from the top of the sternum to a players naval.

Depending on chest protector model, All-Star® chest protectors are available in 9, 13, 14.5, 15.5, and 16.5 inch lengths. If the player measures in between chest protector lengths it is recommended to se-lect the longer length.

The chest protector should fit high, with the throat guard over the base of the neck.

Because the DeltaFlex™ harness is adjustable in 4 different locations you can dial in a fit that is perfect for you.

MVP HELMET AND TRADITIONAL MASK SIZING + FITTING:

For the most accurate sizing, it is recommended to use the players hat size, found by measuring the circumference of the player’s head, and then using the chart to the left to figure out recommended model / size.

LEG GUARD SIZING + FITTING:

Best done while seated, measure from center of player’s knee cap to the top of the players cleats.

Depending on leg guard mod-el, All-Star® leg guards are available in 10.5, 11.5, 12.5, 13, 14.5, 15.5, and 16.5 inch lengths. If the player measures in between leg guard lengths it is recommended to select the longer length.

Remember, on our Pro Se-ries and System Seven™ leg guards, please adjust both sides of the DeltaFlex™ harness for the best fit. DeltaFlex™ har-ness should cradle the back of the calf muscle, lining up cen-tered down the back of the calf.

The helmet features an I-BAR VISION™ steel cage, a high impact resistant ABS plastic shell with increased forehead thickness, a backplate designed to keep the snaps on, and a breathable 3D mesh padding liner.

The bars on the cage around the eye openings are flatter for increased range of view and to make the bars stronger. Instead of using a round steel wire, the I-BAR VISION™ cages utilize a flat bar which is compa-rable to an I-Beam used in building construction.

This glove is recommended for elite travel ball through college/pro level play. Designed with high grade Maruhashi leather, this glove will be a bit stiff out of the box, but will break in fast and last for seasons.

The single hinge design allows for more control and helps keep your thumb more protected than traditional double-hinge designs.

This glove features an index finger hood, so you can have your index finger out for more padding, but still protected and covered. The Pro Guard Padding™ (PGP™) provides just the right amount of padding in the palm.


This girls’ designed fast pitch / softball mitt was specifically designed for younger and smaller hands. Although it’s smaller, it doesn’t skip any quality as it offers many compa-rable features. Double heel break, Velcro closure, and black and tan leather construc-tion.

The three attachment points on the back plate of the catching mask are

designed to never pop off.

Each strap runs underneath a “bridge” which secures the buckle to

the helmet’s back plate.

Extra material has been built into the design of the helmet in the high

impact points, like the forehead.

This feature makes the helmet much more protective and durable so it can

withstand more abuse.

Compared to past All-Star® models and other helmets on the market, the System Seven™ series of catching

helmets feels weightless when worn.

The helmets naturally rest on the center of a player’s head, instead of having more weight toward the front,

which makes it feel heavier.

The cage is only attached by the temples and by the chin. Looking at the cage closely, you can notice

that there is an air gap along the top edge of the helmet so that when a

ball impacts the cage, the force has to travel through the cage before

going into the rest of the helmet and your head.

The helmet features an I-BAR VISION™ steel cage, a high impact resistant ABS plastic shell with increased forehead thickness, a backplate designed to keep the snaps on, and a breathable 3D mesh padding liner.

Exclusive to the MVP4000, MVP2500, & MVP2400 series masks, the snaps on the back of the helmet are designed to stay on.

Each strap runs under a “bridge” which makes it impossible to pull off the buckle.

Even if the snaps come undone, the built in bridges will not allow the buckle to pass through. The straps also flow over the edges of the back plate, rather than through it, to keep the straps from snagging your ears when the mask is pulled on and off.

The specially formulated Wrist Pop™ elastic strap enables the lead hand (left hand in right-handed hitters) to have more power as it “rolls over”, “snaps” or “pops” during a baseball or softball swing. The muscles of the forearm play a critical role at this impact. If the lead wrist is weak, it will break down at impact, robbing the batter of power at contact. With good mechanics, Wrist PopTM tech-nology aids the forearms in applying more torque into the swing. This accelerates the bat-head and increases the speed as it hits the ball.

How to use it:The Wrist Pop™ strap slides onto the base of the index finger and is draped over the back of the hand and then around the wrist.
