Welcome to Wheels Manufacturing, home of one of the largest inventories of bicycle small parts, repair parts, tools, and aftermarket accessories.
We started in 1988 in Boulder, Colorado as a small machine shop producing cog removal tools and chain- ring spacers, and quickly grew into a large-scale manufacturing facility producing a full line of small parts totaling over 900 products. We’re now located in Louisville, Colorado, just outside Boulder.

215EMERGENCY DERAILLEUR HANGER INSTALLATION
Multi-tool with optional hanger
1. Derailleur hangers often get bent from a crash or from having the derailleur go into the spokes due to an overshift.
2. Remove the rear wheel, and then the derailleur from the damaged hanger. Then remove the derailleur hanger (Allen key or screwdriver required). NOTE: Save the damaged hanger so you can match it with a new one.
3. Reinstall the rear wheel and secure the Emergency Hanger as shown using the quick release skewer nut (or using axle nut if wheel has solid axle).
4. Reinstall the rear derailleur into the threaded hole in the Emergency Hanger. Inspect the rear derailleur for damage and check to see that the derailleur does not overshift. The Emergency Hanger is designed for short term use only.

Complete Multi-Tool [Tool-G]

1. Clean bearing bore and determine correct replacement bearings.
2. Install matching drifts on the press rod and tighten into bearings with handles.
3. Tighten handles until bearings are seated. Don’t over-tighten.
Gone are the days when shop mechanics grabbed whatever socket was close enough to the bearing size and just tapped it in. The Press-1 Sealed Bearing Press replaces that archaic installation system, provid-ing the right tool for the job.

Bearing Extractors
Bearing Extractors [PRESS-5]
These extractors easily remove sealed bearings. Insert the extractor into sealed bearing, tighten up one side with an Allen key, and the collet expands to grip the inside of the bearing. Tap the extractor out with a punch. Removes sealed bearings with an I.D. of 8mm to 30mm. Individual replacement extractors and parts are also available.
Bottom Bracket Sealed Bearing Extractor[PRESS-6]
Designed specifi cally for extracting 6805 bearings from outboard bottom bracket shells, the Press-6 Bottom Bracket Sealed Bearing Extractor is a major time saver for any busy bike shop.Instead of completely removing the bottom bracket shell from the frame during the extraction process, the Press-6 utilizes an expanding collet system that inserts into the I.D. of the bearing. Once inserted, simply pull the bearing out of the bottom bracket shell. The Press-6 kit also includes adapters for the re-installation of bearings. It’s a must-have tool for any shop that does frequent bottom bracket bearing replacements.
2. Tighten Allen bolt. This expands extractor collet inside bearing.
3. Tap with punch from opposite side to drive extractor out and remove bearing.
1. Determine correct extractor size by fi tting into sealed bearing.
2. Use press handle and 6805 adapter to reinstall the sealed bearings.

What does ABEC number mean?ABEC numbers are industry standards dictating critical dimensions in sealed bearing. The higher the ABEC number, the more precise the bearing. Low RPM applications, such as a bicycle wheel generally require lower ABEC number bearings. Most OEM bearings are either ABEC 1 or ABEC 3. Dropout savers are made from aircraft-quality steel. In most cases, the thread strength of the saver is greater than the thread strength of the original dropout. Dropout savers are precision-machined to exact tolerances and plated for corrosion resistance.

USING THE DROPOUT SAVER
The dropout saver system is an alternative to replacing badly bent or damaged derailleur dropouts. Rather than replacing the damaged dropout at considerable cost and effort, simply follow a few easy steps to repair the existing dropouts:
1. Use the dropout saver drill to clean out the damaged threads.
2. Measure the dropout width to determine whether to use Saver DS-1 or DS-2. • For narrow dropouts (less than 7mm), use [DS-2] • For wide dropouts (wider that 7mm), use [DS-1]
3. Install saver in the back of the dropout and realign dropout using a gear hanger alignment tool.
4. Install derailleur and tighten while holding saver with16mm cone wrench.

DU Bushing Removal Tool [TOOL-BUSH] 5 PCS
Removes and installs 10mm, 12mm and 1/2” DU bushings. Five-piece set includes 3 bushing drifts, a support sleeve and a support foot.
Benchtop Axle/Cone Gauge/Ruler [RULER]
Measure threads for ALL cones, locknuts, and axles. Wheels Mfg part numbers printed on it for convenience. Black anodized aluminum with mounting holes.
Benchtop Bearing Ruler [RULER-BEAR]
Measure OD and ID of cartridge bearings as well as diameter of loose ball bearings. Black anodized aluminum.
BUSHING REMOVAL & INSTALLATION TOOL
1. Determine the correct bushing drift for your shock.
2. Press out the pins. Slide the bushing drift through the shock eyelet.
3. Slide bushing drift into support sleeve with tapered end up. Hold shock fi rmly against a hard surface. Tap the bushing drift fi rmly to push he DU bushing out of the shock eye.
4. Slide a new DU bushing onto the bushing drift and the foot into the tapered end of support sleeve.
5. Slide the DU bushing and assembly through the eyelet and into the thick end of the support sleeve. Support on a hard sur-face and tap end of bushing drift to drive the into shock eyelet.
6. Tap the bushing drift until the new DU bushing is fully installed. Refi t the pins. The shock is now ready for installation on your bike.
