Coaching CPS Track and Field (3) Formal Team Status Soph team An
additional 8 students participating in 7 meets, plus participation
in the Soph Championships Competition is essential to formal team
status. Practice without competition is not recognized, nor will be
compensated. Stipend eligibility also depends on the formal team
status Numbers on the eligibility sheet do not necessarily reflect
a formal team Frosh/Sophs can compete as varsity during the season,
but for the Championships, they can only participate in one series.
Frosh team An additional 8 students participating in 7 meets
Varsity team 10 students participating in 7 meets Coaches other
than the head coach are considered assistants more than Frosh or
Soph Cannot receive 2 stipends (for coaching boys and girls)

Issues Remember to enter the IHSA Series by Feb 1 View the IHSA
Rules meeting by April 2 Participation is strongly recommended Make
sure to properly withdraw if necessary Students will need 25 hours
for semester eligibility in 2013

entry. CPS meets sponsored by me (Sports Administration-now
Interscholastic Competition) will be preceded by an asterisk Ex.

of the Program The Indoor meet will consist of 3 distinct meets.
Save the date Sunday, March 18 Schools will be split into regions
with a 2 meet schedule to facilitate more dual type competitions
Nevertheless, I am ready for you all to step up and do the things
necessary to host and run your own meets! Our numbers are causing
us to change the model. Local Organization The Relays will be split
into Regionals competing on the same day Better athletic experience
