ABOVE IS THE BACK PAGE of the invitation to the chamber’s 60th annual banquet, in 1964. The cham-ber celebrates its 100th anniversary next month. The banquets appear to have started before the chamber was officially organized. It was first called the Commercial Club, which hired its first paid secretary in 1912.
