It is 260 kms. from Delhi and 240 kms. from Agra and forms the most chosen tourism golden triangle of Delhi, Agra and Jaipur. The old Jaipur painted in pink can grip any visitor with admiration. About Jaipuria Institute of Management
Jaipuria's legacy of education began in 1945 with the establishment of Jaipuria College in Kolkata. It is this unique heritage spanning 7 decades and 4 generations that sets us apart from other educational institutes.
Its journey in management education began in 1995 with the first campus in Lucknow, Noida in 2004, Jaipur in 2006 and Indore in 2010. Today Jaipuria Institute of Management is one of the largest groups in northern and central India to offer AICTE approved PGDM programs.
South Asian Association for Regional
Cooperation (SAARC) established in
1985, is now thirty years old. As with
age, maturity should reflect in the
working of an organization as is
supposed in the life of an individual.
Time is befitting that the missing
dynamism be induced in the eight
nations (Afghanistan, Bangladesh,
Bhutan, India, Maldives, Nepal,
Pakistan and Sri Lanka) so that this
integration which is reported to be the
most youthful, as youth make up one-
fifth of South Asia's demography, gears
up and realizes its true potential by
harnessing the power of youth.
According to UNFPA, three South Asian
countries ( India, Pakistan and
Bangladesh) are amongst world's ten
countries with largest youth population.
Also policy makers in emerging Asian
countries are concerned about youth as
between 1960 and 2000, the number
of adolescents and young adults
doubled or more than doubled in nearly
every Asian countr y. The only
exceptions were China, Japan, North
Korea, and Kazakhstan. The rapid
growth of youth population has created
pressure to expand education, health,
and employment programs aimed at
this group. The Asian economies need
to capitalize the demographic dividend
which is likely to end over the next few
decades as aging population has
started severely affecting Japan, Korea,
China, Singapore and Thailand.
The youth provides a ray of hope for the
dynamism required for the success of
SAARC and emerging Asian nations.
The historical baggage of suspicion,
fear and hostility among South Asian
nations, can be overcome by the young
vibrant minds that can bring change,
reinvigorate business among the region
and spur economic growth.
In South and Emerging Asia, the agenda
to achieve prosperity is driven by the
need to achieve sustainable growth and
reduce poverty. Plethora of reforms are
required for businesses to flourish in
this region. When young minds get
involved, they help create and shape
the future bringing unique and
innovative perspectives that need to be
taken into account.
The International Conference on Youth 2025 -"Harnessing
Youth for Development, Sustainability and Happiness":
Imperatives and Challenges for SAARC and Emerging Asian
Countries, (ICHYDSH-2017) would deliberate on how to
harness and utilize the youth power which is a catalyst for
bringing about a change. SAARC and emerging Asia need
to reinvigorate the structure, processes and mechanism
of working to bring about business sustainability in the
region which is abounding with various challenges.
Challenges are of varied nature like population pressure,
persistence of widespread poverty, environmental
degradation, human rights violation, terrorism, rise of
ethnic and communal riots. These challenges have put
the economies on the "unsustainable path" which can be
attributed to change in values and practices at socio-
economic and political level. SAARC and emerging Asian
economies will need a new strategic vision to revitalize
itself.
The conference seeks to fortify co-operation and
exchange between the SAARC and emerging Asian
countries to support advances in spheres, such as
science, technology, legislation and production as well as
in socio-economic and political spheres. It will help focus
the attention of the SAARC and emerging Asian countries
which calls for a renewal of culture to confront the major st challenge of the 21 century: The quest for business
sustainability.
