The infrared reference spectra contained in this section were obtained at a resolutionof 4 cm–1, using a Fourier-transform infrared spectrophotometer, under the conditionsspecified in the individual monographs. The horizontal axis indicates thewavenumber (cm–1) and the vertical axis indicates the transmittance (%). As areference, a potassium bromide disk without any sample was used in the disk method(10 mm in diameter), and an optical plate was used in the paste, thin film, and liquidfilm methods.
