TeamworkThe Okphela team collaborated to complete the team checking step in the translation of Genesis, Nehemiah, Jonah and Amos. In this stage, each person on the team reviewed the translations done by the other individuals. During the process, they compared it against other Bible versions. They wrote down suggestions for improvement and comments for discussion. They revised the first draft after much discussion and prayer. Throughout the translation process, they will repeat the revision and updating of the text.

Then God spoke to Jacob and said, ‘Go back to your father and your people, I will be with you.’ Then Jacob sent to Leah and Rachel that they should come to the bush where he was. He said to them, ‘I have seen that your father is not as kind to me as he was, but the God of my father is with me.’ ” (Literal translation into English)
