2. WARSAW Warsaw is the capital of Poland. There are a lot of
old buildings. One of them is the Culture Palace. There is also
azienki Park with a beautiful mansion. In the centre of Warsaw
there is Mermaid Monument and Polish National Stadium.

7. GDANSK Gdansk is a very important city for Polish people
because there is a shipyard with a lot of cranes. In the 80s Polish
trade union Solidarnosc fought for freedom with the communism. It
is a town on the Baltic Sea. We live near Gdansk.

9. ZAKOPANE Zakopane is a city in the Tatra Mountains. Tourists
from all around the world ski on a large hill. There are beautiful
views from the mountains. This region has a tasty traditional
cheese called oshipek.
10. TATRA MOUNTAINS
11. KRAKOW This is the city where the Polish kings lived and
their graves are in the Wawel Cathedral. The city was the Polish
capital many years ago. The palace where the kings lived is called
Wawel.
