Lessons will officially commence at 9:00am Wednesday 12th April. Gates will be opened for traveling riders and their families on Tuesday 11th April from 1:00pm. Upon arrival, you will be guided to your prearrange camping area and you will have immediate access to your horse yard for the duration of the camp. This yard will be allocated to you and all club members will be group together where possible. There is a working bee to help set up Tuesday afternoon between 3:00-4:00pm. Please have your PCAQ Horse Health Declaration form completed upon arrival and hand to office when you sign in. All riders MUST sign in at the office prior to gear check.

Sign in times: Tuesday 4:30 - 5:00pm OR Wednesday 7:30-8:00am. All riders will be allocated a coloured tag which will represent their group for the duration of the camp. This must be pinned to your saddle cloth on the near side so instructors can confirm you are in the correct group easily and quickly.

Gear Check will be 8:30am - for the first groups and 9:15am for the second groups. Guest Instructors plus a selection of zone 2 instructors will be covering a range of disciplines including: Flatwork, dressage, gridwork, showjumping, cross country, campdrafting, vaulting, novelties, Tetrathlon, fun and games.... There will be a number of activities during the camp in addition to the group lessons. These include a Zone 2 Family Feast on Wednesday night - Please indicate on your nomination form the number of tickets you require. Additional tickets will be available for purchase from canteen. Drinks will be available from the canteen. Wednesday is ‘red and white’ day. Please come along in Zone 2 colours Thursday is blue day. Please come along in our as much ‘blue’ as possible. Prizes will be awarded at mounted presentation. Friday is ‘club polo shirt’ day. There will be a team get-to-know-you Thursday night where teams will be allocated and a number of activities arranged to encourage team building. These activities will earn the teams points towards their overall score for the next day. The final day of camp will be a Teams event made up and allocated by the club/instructors to include a range of ages and ability. Each team will nominate one rider to complete one discipline only. Each team member must complete one event only. These events include: showjumping, rider workout, bonfield bounce and barrels, and all riders will do a mounted game and novelty race. This is designed to encompass what they have learned over the previous days. And have a bit of fun. Mounted presentation to follow. Riders are requested to wear their own pony club polo shirts this day and bring club banners.

CAMP Code of Conduct: • Pony Club rules apply • Instructors are to be shown respect by all riders and parents at all times. Bad language and

disrespectful behavior will not be tolerated • Appropriate riding attire to be worn at all times. ie must be collared shirt • Always be on time for your group lesson and listen to your instructor. • NO MOBILE phones are allowed whilst participating in camp activities • All riders are encouraged to attempt all activities and exercises offered on camp. • You MUST attend all activities as part of your group. • Please be mindful of your fellow campers and keep noise to a minimum after dark. • Please be responsible with alcohol consumption. Alcohol can only be consumed around your

campsite. Please remember that you should always remain under the legal limit, in case of an emergency and you need your vehicle.

• Please ensure that you leave your camping area clean and tidy • No rider is to leave the grounds without first notifying zone camp organizers. • No parents or guardian are to interrupt lessons to speak to their child unless having first

spoken to the instructor. any parent who has an issue or is dissatisfied please discuss with a representative from zone camp

• All riders will be allocated a colour coded tag to be pinned to the near side of your saddle cloth at all times

• Riding boots and/or closed in shoes MUST be worn around the horse pens and activities • All riders must report to gear check. Any unsafe gear will need to be replaced or repaired prior

to joining your group • NO DOGS are allowed on TPC grounds during the Zone camp • No campsite fires are permitted. Council approval has been obtained for our Bonfire only • If you have any questions or issues, please direct your concerns to the appropriate Zone camp

organizer. • One horse = one rider • No horses in the camp area • All riders MUST remain with your group all day unless you are given permission by your

instructor to leave. • There will be NO SWAPPING GROUPS without the consent of the organizing committee • Chewing gum or bubble gum is not permitted during camp • Please always ensure that your horse is fed and has access to water whilst in the yards • Always please be mindful that the camp is a big day for not only riders but horses as well.

Allow them to rest when you can. It is a good idea to increase their fitness prior to camp • PLEASE WORM YOUR HORSE at least 3 days prior to commencement of camp • The main gate to TPC grounds MUST remain closed at all times • You must only WALK your horse between group lessons. • Program is subject to change and as much notice will be given as possible if this happens. • BYO SAWDUST for your yards. • Please remove your manure to the ‘poo piles’ marked on your map of TPC grounds • All riders must have a parent or allocated guardian whilst on our grounds

All riders will be grouped within their classification according to age. If the activity involves jumping, groups will be organised according to their jumping ability. Please be as accurate as possible with the ratings as this will help to group riders accordingly
