The availability of Pheromone trap and spray of fungicides in standing Crop of Pigeon pea is a major problems to small and poor farmer so, resistance Variety to pod borer should be evolve or suitable, effective, durable and easily available bio pesticides should be required.

having 15 acre partially irrigated land growing vegetables specially cabbage and other field crops like wheat, gram etc. with average annual income of Rs. 4,00,000/- per annum.

Improved cabbage Hybrids, Nursery Management Technology, soil testing , INM & IPM in cabbage, wheat , gram etc.

After KVK Intervention

Saved seed approximately 30% due to line sowing and control of mortality in nursery (Rs. 4000.00)Saved fertilizer 25% due to application of STV Based fertilizer in cabbage (Rs. 1000)Minimized use of insecticide fungicide by adopting IPM practices. Increased productivity of cabbage 175q/ha to 250 q/ha, wheat 18 q/ha to 34q/ha.Dug up a tube well in the last year
