WEEKLY ATTENDANCE The attendance for July 9th was approximately 46 at the 9:00 AM service. Average Sunday attendance for the 9AM service for 2017 through July 9th is 64. ALTAR FLOWERS Today’s altar flowers are given to the glory of God by Bill Howell in memory of his niece, Linnea Carenza. OFFICE HOURS Pastor Dan will be on vacation from June 30th through July 16th

If there is a pastoral emergency, please contact Laura Hamilton in the church office for infor-mation on emergency pastoral coverage, or contact a member of council. Pastor Dan will resume his normal office schedule this coming week. UPCOMING EVENING SERVICE A Holden Evening Prayer service will take place on July 19th in the outdoor worship center at 6:30 PM. Pastor Dan will be back to preside over the service. This is a great opportunity to invite a friend to Zion! GOSPEL MUSIC SESSION THIS THURSDAY If you are interested in learning some new songs, Zion Senior Choir’s Sarah Ochocki is putting together a Gospel Music Workshop, scheduled for Thursday nights at 7:00, July 20th through August 3rd. LVCAP INTERFAITH FOOD PANTRY CURRENT NEEDS The Interfaith Food Pantry sponsored by the Long Valley Community Assistance Pro-gram (LVCAP) has detailed its immediate needs. Pick-up a list in the Narthex and donate if you can. You may place items in the bins located in the Narthex, or in the Fields Hall Kitchen. Thank you for your support of LVCAP.

Stephen Ministry is based on the promise that all baptized people receive the gift of the Holy Spirit, and each of us are ministers (servants) of Jesus Christ. Stephen Ministry is a part of Zion’s congre-gational life, in which members of Zion, specially trained and equipped, provide Christ-centered care-giving to members of this church and community. This multiplies the caring ministry of Zion, providing us with a team of skilled caregivers who are able to bring the healing love of Christ to people who are grieving, in crisis, or experiencing stress in their lives. Stephen Ministry is a confidential ministry. The identity of those receiving care and everything they discuss with a Stephen Minister remains pri-vate.
