About Zinc Arts

Zinc Arts is a dynamic arts and education charity thatpromotes inclusion through arts without exception.

We provide creative and vocational pathways fordisabled and socially excluded people of all ages andabilities, using high-quality multi-arts activities thatmotivate them to achieve their full potential.

As an established charity for over 23 years , Zinc Arts exists to advanceand promote the creativity and culture of disabled and non-disabled people of all ages.Our unique programme of activities, courses and training sessions aim tobenefit every individual of every ability.

Multi-purpose spaces

Zinc Arts Centre has 11 multi-purpose spaces which have been designed with high levels of access in mind. Their flexibility meansthat they can be utilised for a wide variety of events, including boardmeetings, training sessions, creative workshops and more.

The Essex Studio is an intimate space that is ideal for a versatilearray of events, including conferences, performances, large workshopsor training sessions and award ceremonies.

Residential Centre

Zinc Arts Centre boasts on-site contemporary accommodationdesigned with outstanding levels of accessibility throughout, and isperfect for both long and short stays.Each of the 24 en-suite bedrooms and have been finished to amodern, high-standard, promoting comfort and relaxation.

For a friendly dormitory-style layout, many bedrooms have interlinkingdoors which are ideal for schools or large groups wishing to share. For guests with limited mobility, six of our rooms are fitted with fixedceiling hoists, and the interlinking bedrooms offer ease of access forovernight support staff.

Whether delivering training sessions for professionals or running educational trips for young people, our accommodation will makesure your stay with us is an enjoyable and relaxed one.

Every residential booking at Zinc Arts Centre includes two freemeeting / workshop rooms which are self contained andadjacent to our dining room and the Residential Centre.
