In this project, the data can be transmitted to and
received from remote Zigbee communication device.
Data Security is primary concern for every
communication system.
In this present days in every rural areas developed but in
the urban areas like hilly areas there is major problem
facing.so to modify that type of problems we are
introducing this project.
In this project we are using zigbee technology.
It is used for wireless communication.
Created for control and sensor network.
Zigbee standard for IEEE 802.15.4.
Control of lights, switches, thermostats,
appliances, etc.
Zigbee was designed to provide high data
throughput in applications where the duty
cycle is low and low power consumption is an
important consideration
Home Automation Still on Horizon
Street light are powered by solar energy. Sensors
senses the data, collect the information and sends
to ARM 7.
ARM 7 controls the signal and runs the software
to analyze the system.
Light sensor gets activated if light
illumination is achieved less than fixed
threshold to switch the lights ON, else OFF.
Now, Zigbee device (at transmission side) is
ready to receive information from streetlight
and communicate with Zigbee device (at
receiver side), then sends to terminal via USB
cable.
Zigbee device communicates point-to-point to
detect the faulty lights in the system.
By using this automatic system for street light
controlling.
We can reduce energy consumption because
the manually operated street lights are not
switched properly even sun light comes.
And also not switched on earlier before sun
set.
Solar street lighting s/m is an ideal lighting s/m
for roads, yards, residential colonies,
townships, hospitals, educational institutions
& rural areas.
This system is an ideal application for campus
and village street lighting.
This s/m is provided with battery storage
backup sufficient to operate the light for 10-
11 hours daily.
FUTURE SCOPE:
implemented this intelligent system we
reduce the maintenance cost and power thefts
of the system.
Controlling the traffic signal lights.
