5. First-aid measures;

As a general rule, in case of doubt or symptom persist, consult a doctor.

In the event of: Symptoms of poisoning may even occur after several hours; therefore medical observation for at least 48 hours after the accident.

Exposure by inhalation: Ensure airway is clear and free from any obstruction. Move person to fresh air at once ensuring one’s own safety whilst doing so.

Splashes or contact with eyes: Ensure contact lenses are removed, rinse eyes with clean cold water running water for 15 minutes. Refer the patient to an ophthalmologist, in particular if there is any redness, pain or visual impairment.

Splashes or contact with skin: Wash skin with soup and water immediately. If irritation occurs seek medical attention.

Swallowing: Rinse mouth with water. Do not induce vomiting. Consult a Doctor.

6. Fire-fighting measures;

Extinguishing media: Do not use water. Use CO2/Dry foam/Sand. Cool stocks of non burning product with water.

Special Protective Equipment for Fire-Fighters: Appropriate self contained breathing apparatus is required. Wear protective clothing to avoid contact with skin and eyes.

Special Exposure Hazard: Fire will produce smoke containing combustion products which may be a health hazard.

7. Accidental release measures;

Personal precautions: Consult the safety measures listed under 7 and 8. Remove all sources of ignition and ventilate the area. Wear protective equipment.

Methods of cleaning up: Absorb spillage in suitable inert material such as sand, earth, vermiculite, diatomaceous earth. Do not use equipment for clean up procedures that produce or cause sparks. Place in a suitable labelled salvage container for disposal by an appropriate method.

Environmental precautions: Dispose of waste recovered in accordance with applicable regulations (see handling 13). Do not allow to enter public drains or water courses. If the product contaminates waterways, rivers or drains, alert the relevant authorities in accordance with statutory procedures. Do not flush with water or water/solvent based cleaning agents.

8. Handling and Storage;

The regulations relating to storage premises apply to workshops where the product is handled.
