Foreword
Welcome to the Marine At A Glance for ZF in Asia Pacific. I am happy to share that ZF is well-positioned to capture growth in the Asia-Pacific and to expand our regional footprint.
Products and Service Remain Core to Our Business. We continue to see strong market interest for the ZF portfolio of marine products. We have received and responded to many inquiries in Asia for our range of transmissions and thrusters. Demand for azimuth and retractable thrusters in particular is on the rise.
Recently, we launched the new ToughGear™ series of workboat transmissions, designed for the most rigorous duty cycles in the most challenging environments. We are also repositioning our Fixed Pitch Propeller factory in Kaohsiung for growth.
We have been successful in strengthening our aftersales service for customers through access to ZF Marine’s service support network of 25 offices in 18 countries in Asia-Pacific, India and the Middle East. With an extensive network of highly skilled engineers and service centers across the globe, we can provide fast response, technical support, spare parts and maintenance to fulfill customer needs in a timely manner. This ensures smooth vessel operations and minimizes vessel downtime for our customers.
Please stay tuned for further developments in the above areas.
