1. DANCE (a) Solo Dance

SOLO DANCE:

(a) Prior required by 1st

March, 2017.

(b) On the spot registration (Reporting time 1 hour before the pre-

elimination round).

(c) Time limit of 2-3 minutes for final registration.

(d) Negative marking for exceeding time limits.

(e) Get your own audio CDs (at least 2) & pen drives, (both mandatory), no

mobile phones are allowed.

(f) It is compulsory to submit your track at the time of registration in

pendrive/CD (2CDs).

(g) 2 Photographs per participant.

(h) College ID card is compulsory.

(i) Xerox of ID-Card is compulsory.

WESTERN DANCE:

Registration fee for Western Dance is Rs. 200

(a) Prior registration required by 1st

March, 2017.

(b) Minimum of 6 members on stage is compulsory; otherwise it may

result in negative marking.

(c) Props usage should be mentioned during registration.

(d) Time limit 3-4 minutes.

(e) Negative marking for exceeding time limits.

(f) Get your own audio CDs, (at least 2) & pen drives(both mandatory), no

mobile phones are allowed.

FOLK DANCE (GROUP)

Registration Fee for Folk Dance is Rs. 300.

(d) Time limit 7-9 minutes.

(e) Use of props allowed, and carries a weightage of marks.

(f) Only pure folk songs are allowed, NO BOLLYWOOD SONG.

(h) Weightage for choreography, music, co-ordination & costumes.

(i) Negative marking for using any fire, any kind of sprays etc, or making

the stage dirty.

Bring out your inner musician and rock the stage with your spine-

chilling music. Shred away your pain, anger and happiness through

your vocals.

(a) On the spot registration of a team will be charged Rs. 200/-.

(b) Band members should be from the same college and currently

enrolled students (no pass outs).

(c) Minimum 1 entry per college.

(d) Backing track not allowed.

(e) Maximum time on stage- 15 minutes including sound checks.

(f) Personal sound engineers are not allowed.

(g) Only drum kit will be provided.

(h) Minimum 2 songs and maximum 5 songs to be performed.

Battle it out with ease and let your thoughts flow.

(a) Maximum no. of participants is 10+5, minimum is 10.

DRAMEBAAJ (MONO ACTING)

2. FASHION SHOW

(a) There will be only one round of maximum time limit 16 minutes.

(b) Theme of your choice

(c) Violation of national sentiments should not be hurt.

(d) There should be 12-16 participants per team exclusive of the designer,

choreographer and supporting.

(e) A T-Shaped extension will be provided on the main stage.

(f) One person should be there to manage sound tracks and lights.

(g) Two copies of sound tracks are to be submitted in advance.

(h) Participants should bring their own props and raw material. No

assistance would be provided from the host college.

(i) The Music tracks have to be given in pen-drive, in audio format(mp3

format)

(j) Marks will be deducted if any participant will exceed the time limit.

Theme: “Leher-Time to fly” RULES

(a) Two participants (1 boy and 1 Girl) per college.

(b) The competition will be mix of both talent and personality.

BUSINESS QUIZ

(a) This is a three rounds game comprising of 15-20 question per round.

Each team consists of 2 members. Maximum intake of this game is

limited to 8 teams.

(b) Rounds are eliminated based. The teams with the least score will be

eliminated in round one and two teams will be eliminated in round two.

There will be negative for wrong answers. Questions will be McQ based

will be displayed via projector. An anchor will also announce the

question but only once.

(c) Round one will be time based where each team based where each

team will be given 40 secs including the time taken by the anchor to

announce the question.

(d) Round 2 and 3: Teams will answer to question by pressing a buzzer

provided to them. In case of a tie a question randomly picked up from the

spare question will be asked to decide the winner.

(e) 2 judges will mark their performance and their decision will be

unquestionable.

JUST A MINUTE

(a) This is a single entry game with a maximum intake capacity of 15

candidates.

(b) Each candidate will be given a topic to speak upon. They will be

given 15 seconds to think and 60seconds to speak upon that topic.

Candidates should speak without hesitation, repetition or deviation.

Indulgence of any of above mentioned activities will lead to

negative marking.

(c) At the end of 60 seconds the floor is thrown open to public and can

confront or add a point to the current point if they wish and if the judge

considers it valid then the speaker will get marks, both positive or

negative accordingly.

(d) 2 judges will mark their performance and their decision will be

unquestionable.

BEST-SELLER

(a) A team of 3 to 4 member will be formed. Maximum intake of

this business game is 5. Each team will be given a product or an

idea about which they have to sell. They will be given 4 mins to

rehearse and 5 mins to perform the act.

(b) The caution should be taken to refrain from displaying obscenity,

violence, prejudice, defamation etc. in this game.

(c) 2 judges will mark the team’s performance and their decision will be

final.

PICTIONARY

(a) A team of 3 to 4 members will be formed. Maximum intake of this game

is 6. It is a time based event with maximum time limit of 2 and half

minutes and 10 seconds for the member to think before.

(b) One member will be told a product or an idea or a person and he/she has

to explain to the other members of the team by drawing on white board

only. He or she cannot speak or make gestures to help members

understand. Only drawing things indirectly will help you win.

(c) 2 judges will mark the teams performance and their decision will be

final.

LAN GAMING

(a) 3 to 5 members for counter strike condition zero.

(b) Hooting and indiscipline is not permitted

(c) Coordinator’s decision will be final.

BITE THE BUN

(a) It is a couple game with a maximum entry of 5 couples.

(b) Buns will be tied on rope with special marking on them

(c) Hands and feet will be tied of both girls and boys separately

(d) Girls will be on one side of the ground and boys will other side.

(e) Rope will tied up in the middle.

(f) Once the game begins, both boys and girls will have to run towards

the rope and bite the bun.

(g) Use of hands will disqualify the couple.

(h) Couples will have to run back to the space provided to keep the

buns .

(i) No couple can pick the same marking buns. If it happens then that

bun won’t be considered.

(j) The couple which has the highest buns will win the competition.

TREASURE HUNT

(a) 5 clues cards will be made.

(b) Max of 6 teams of 4 members will be entertained

(c) Each team has to find the clue cards with the colour allotted to them.

(d) The team which brings all the 5 clue cards to the head will win the

game

AD-MAD

(a) A team of 3 to 4 members will be formed. Maximum intake of this

business game is 5.

(b) Each team will be given a product or an idea about which they have

to advertise. They will be given 4 mins to rehearse and 5 mins to perform

the act.

(c) The caution should be taken to refrain from displaying obscenity,

violence, prejudice, defamation etc. in advertisement.

(d) 2 judges will mark the teams performance and their decision will be

final.

PERFECT MATCH

(a) A three round couple game.

(b) Max entry of 7-8 couples.

Round one: will begin to tie a knot within 35 seconds, worst 2 or

failures in completing the task will lead to disqualification.

Round two: males will be blindfold on one side while the girl’s hand

will be tied up on the other side. They will reach a common point

after which guys will have a short dress up for girls including

putting a bindi, bangles , a lipstick, earrings. Failure in completing

the task will lead to disqualification. Time based a total of 40

seconds will be given.

Round three: Paper dance: A chart paper will be provided and

couples have to dance on that paper when music plays .whenever

music stops the paper will folded into half and couple have to

dance. The game is all about balance.

The last one to survive is winner.

(j) Digital manipulation that distorts the reality of the images will not

be allowed.

JUDGEMENT:

(k) The images will be selected by a panel of judges and their decision

is final. No correspondence pertaining to the selection process and

decision will be entertained.

(l) The panel of judges will evaluate the images based on the

following criteria:

Artistic/Visual appeal

Extent to which the photograph captures the essence of the

theme.

Images will be judged based on: Originality,

Creativity,

an

d relevance to the theme.

The judging panel reserves the right not to award the prizes

if the images submitted do not meet the requirements stated

in this document.

RANGOLI MAKING

(a) A group of 2 students can participate as a team.

(b) Theme will be given on the spot.

(c) Student will bring their own material for Rangoli, paint shall

not be allowed.

(d) No electronic device help is allowed during competition.

(e) Time limit is 30 minutes.

(f) No props or tools to be used for rangoli making.

MEHENDI DESIGNING

(a) Mehendi cones will be provided by co-ordinators.

(b) The participant has to arrange for a representator on his own.

BEST OUT OF WASTE

Prove that the 3R’s – reuse, reduce, & Recycle are the best strategies

to make the most out of waste material. Even waste can be useful,

productive or can be turned into a decorative piece…let your

imagination flow free..!! Get your stuff to be the best.

Rules for Best Out of Waste

(a) One hour will be provided in total.

(b) Students can participate in groups of 2 as well.

(c) Newspaper, glue, scissor, cello-tape, & pencils will not be provided.

(d) Kindly bring your own material for your art on your own.

(e) The product can be based on theme related to ENVIRONMENT.

(f) The product is to be made on the spot, prior making of/ prepared

product shall also be considered.

(g) No expensive items must be used.

(h) Participants are requested to be as environmental friendly as possible.

Winners will be awarded appropriately.

COLLAGE MAKING

(a) The source material used should be old books, magazines,

newspapers, scrap, etc.

(b) Individual participation.

(c) Topic :- Communal Harmony

(d) Time duration must not exceed 1 hour.

BRAINATHON

(a) 2 students per team.

(b) Rules will be according to the rounds of Quiz and will be disclosed

on the spot.

(c) Usage of technological instruments and calculators are not allowed.

(d) Topic for Quiz:-

1. General knowledge, current affairs,

mathematical ability, literature.
