The strategy to obtain cost efficiency:

The goal is to reduce the investment cost to 50 % of a conventional traffic control system

• Create supplier competition• No interlockings are needed at stations

• Create a larger market • No train detection system is needed

• The use of cables is minimized

• No optical signals are needed
