Pupils study THREE further GCSEs

Travel and Tourism Btec and ONE GCSE.

GCSE exams are now linear – exams at the end of the course. Have been designed for a two – year period of study

Will study a mix of reformed GCSEs and legacy GCSEs
This means students will receive a mixture of letter and number grades in summer 2017

Edexcel exam board ( 9 – 1)Main changes in English Language and English Literature:
No controlled assessments – two end of course exams for English Language and English Literature
Closed book exams – means no books can be taken into the exams
