The Semantic Seed Entrepreneurship Academy is a week-long day camp for students who have completed 6-8 grades and are interested in entrepreneurship and owning a business. The Institute holds two academies each summer, in the Santa Cruz area. The camp runs daily from 8:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. (early drop off and late pick up are available for an additional fee).

How does the academy work?

Page 3: Youth start up_camp_sponsorship_kit_2011

The Semantic Seed Entrepreneurship Academyintroduces students to the concept of running a business and what it takes to make a business work. Through classroom exercises, field trips and guest speakers, campers develop their own business ideas and work on bringing their ideas to the marketplace.
