Dear Valued ESS Customer:We hope you're enjoying your summer. Remember, whenever you're looking for a reprieve from the sizzling heat and humidity, the Elite Shooting Sports facility offers a variety of activities for the entire family and is perfectly air-conditioned, maintaining a comfortable 71 degrees all summer long and year around. We continue to stay busy working on the launch of new training programs, including simulator-based training and a practical carbine course. The expansion of our retail area during these last few months allowed for an increased demand in our armorer service offerings. TRAININGYOUTH RIFLE PROGRAMThis new course for children between the ages of 8 and 17 kicked off on Sunday, July 24 to a very good start! Students learned about firearm safety and rifle marksmanship, while developing excellent safety habits and solid shooting fundamentals. The second part of the class included live fire practice on the range where each student tried various .22 rifles such as TacSol, Smith & Wesson, Henry, and Ruger.New course dates are already posted on our website. MULTI-STATE/UTAH CONCEALED CARRY COURSEOur next Multi-State/Utah Concealed Carry Course is scheduled for Friday, August 5, 6:00 to 10:00 p.m. This is a four-hour course taught by Mike Stilwell, a Utah resident certified instructor with over 14 years of experience teaching this course for the Utah Department of Public Safety. The course meets the requirements for the Utah Concealed Carry Permit, recognized in multiple states. Prerequisite: A valid Virginia Concealed Carry Permit. Price: $95 (non-refundable).Click here to register.

FIREARM RENTALSCustomers are able to rent our various firearms if: (1) you have a valid Concealed Carry Permit; (2) you are active duty military; or (3) you are current or retired Law Enforcement with valid credentials.In addition, firearms are available to rent with ESS instructional supervision for classes, one-on-one instruction, and corporate events.Choose handgun rentals from a variety of major firearm manufacturers such as Glock, Heckler & Koch, Walther, Smith & Wesson, Ruger, Sig Sauer, as well as firearms in the AR-15 rifle platform by Armalite and Smith & Wesson.The firearm rental fee is $10.00/hour for a single firearm. If you want to try multiple firearms in the same session, the fee is $15.00/hour. All ammunition for rental firearms MUST be purchased at Elite Shooting Sports.
