Removing Barriers To Participation

• “Who isn’t joining in?” - identifying the gaps, looking in the margins.

• “Why wont you come out to play?” - identifying the barriers.

• “What do you want?” – assessing needs.

• “What can we do?” – developing needs-led provision and creating access.

• Project developed from instructor-led performance / showcase into participative workshops / learning

• Develops project in partnership with targeted Special Schools

• Holistic learning projects with a cross-curricular theme, working with all age groups in the school.

Music Therapy Department• Working with pupils who may have

borderline SEN and have been identified by schools.
