Stay healthy andhappy every day withour top 16 health tips
1. Vaccinate your children to prevent childhood diseases.
2. Eat five fresh fruit and vegetables every day.
3. Eat less sugar and salt.
4. Drink at least eight glasses of clean, safe water a day.
5. Get 30 minutes of physical activity at least five days a week.
6. Stop smoking, it kills.
7. Practice safer sex. Use condoms correctly and consistently.
8. Always use a contraceptive and a condom (Dual Protection) to prevent unplanned
pregnancy, STIs and HIV.
9. Get circumcised (medical male circumcision- MMC) to reduce your risk of HIV.
10. Get tested, know your health status.
11. Know your health numbers: blood pressure, sugar level, weight, cholesterol, etc.
12. If you feel sick go to the clinic immediately.
13. Remember to take your medicine as prescribed by your healthcare provider.
14. If you cough for more than two weeks go to the clinic for TB screening and testing.
15. Get screened for cancer, early detection saves lives.
16. Wash your hands with soap and water before preparing food,
every time you eat and after you use the toilet.
