After several years of pain following a brutal rowing race, my GP suggested osteopathy as a solution. Thanks to his advice I learnt just what a difference osteopathic treatment can have on your freedom of movement, quality of life and your sense of wellbeing.

I was so completely convinced that I gave up my job as a globe-trotting buyer for a big retail company, researched the best osteopathy school in Europe and enrolled immediately.

What motivates me today is the knowledge that osteopathy can help so many chronic conditions, can alleviate pain without the need to resort to drugs and can benefit so many.

Osteopathy is of course a complementary medicine and no responsible osteopath will claim that it can cure all ills. What is amazing nevertheless, is the extent to which careful diagnosis and targeted gentle treatment can alleviate the most painful of symptoms.

So here I am in Looe, having changed my career completely. As someone who recovered from a serious sports injury thanks to osteopathy I am now keen to share the benefits of this remarkable therapy with others.

Having established my new health clinic, La Source in West Looe, I am delighted to be associated with a psychotherapist who has now joined the practice. Provided that we can find suitably qualified and experienced practitioners, we may in due course be able to offer other therapies such as reflexology and nutrition advice.
