Select the back strap. There are six no-costoptions, with many upgraded styles available.

The base cap has an unstructured crown, which

is soft and relaxed. You can add structurebehind the front panels to make the crown stiffer

and help the cap retain a nice shape.

Determine the profile. Low profile fits close tothe head and is considered a traditional ball cap

cut, medium profile adds a bit of height at the

front of the crown, and high profile is typical on a

5-panel or ‘trucker’ style cap.

Great job! Your base cap is built, and now comes

the fun part. Get creative and make a truly

unique cap by adding some of our many

decorating options. See pages 6-7 for

great ideas to add pizzazz to your cap.

Add your imprint. The base cap priceincludes one-location embroidery, up to 10,000

stitches and nine thread colors. You can choose to

add more embroidery in other locations.

Choose colors — crown panels, top/bottom of

visor, button, eyelets, back strap, topstitching

thread can all be the same color or each can be

different. Refer to the chart on pages 8-9 to see the color

selection for the fabric you’ve chosen.

How many panels do you want the crown to

have? A five panel cap has one large center

panel, giving the front more of a flat billboard

background for your ad; a six panel cap has a seam

down the front, and a rounder shape overall.

Select fabric (see chart on pages 8-9). Note

that different fabrics have different color

availability; make sure to choose a fabric that

offers the color selection you want.

C R O W N S I Z E V A R I AT I O N SUsing an adjustable back strap for customized fit, our standard cut for cap crown is recommended as the best option for a universalfit. Other options are an XL size, cut specifically for larger heads, and cuts for the ladies and for youth (ladies and youth are availableonly in low profile). Each optional cut requires a factory minimum of 288 pieces.

Spandex Twill caps have an elastic sweatband instead of a back strap. Choose a standard one-size-fits-most cut, or select from twosize options for slightly smaller/slightly larger cuts: S/M and L/XL. A minimum 288 piece order can be split 144/144 between sizes.
