You’re In Good Hands
I Pet. 5:6, “Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand
of God, that he may exalt you in due time:” The mighty hand of God is
all powerful. It can br ing down the proud and haughty as well as ex-
alt the humble. His mighty hand is seen in many marvelous ways
throughout the Bible (Gen. 1, Ps. 19:1, Rom. 8:28, Heb. 6:18-19, 2 Cor.
1:3-4, James 1:21). We still see His hand moving in our lives today. It
moves silently and swiftly in various ways. Perhaps, most importantly
though, His hand is the hand of salvation.
Paul tells us that while we were sinners Jesus died for us (Rom.
5:8). John tells us to be impressed with the love God has for us (1 Jon. 3:1
-3). Peter assures us that God does not want anyone to be lost (2 Pet. 3:9).
His mighty hand knocks at the door of every man’s heart desiring to
come in. However, He will not open that door with His hands, man
must open the door and let Him in (Rev. 3:20; Rom. 1:17; James
1:21).
In this life we must hold on to the unchanging and mighty hand of
God. He is our creator, our safety, our correction, our direction, our pro-
tection, our consolation and comfort. We are in good hands. Believe Him,
trust Him, receive Him and obey Him.

It is an honor to have you join us in worship at the
Northside Church of Christ! Our mission is to save
souls and to help souls stay saved. We extend our
sincere love towards you and we encourage you to take
advantage of the opportunity to have a bible study with
members who are eager to study with you. If you do not
share our like faith, this bible study, as well as your visit
today, offers a two way opportunity: (1) We have the
chance to share with you the gospel of Jesus Christ and
the essential steps to salvation. (2) You have the chance
to hear, believe, repent, confess, and be baptized where-
by being added to the Church of Christ. We welcome
you to investigate what you hear and see today. You
will be able to ask your biblical questions and receive
biblical answers that will guide you to make an in-
formed, life changing decision. Thank you for being our
special guest! Please come again.

Better Men, Husbands, Fathers, and Leaders
Did You Tell Someone About Jesus?
Matt. 28:19-20 is the great
commission given to members of
the body of Christ. As Christians,
it is our responsibility to Tell,
Talk and Teach others about
Jesus. Telling someone about
Christ will often open the door to
Talk with them about Him. You
can then Teach them or invite
them to Church where they can be
taught. We encourage each Chris-
tian to take advantage of such
opportunities. If you know of a
prospect, and for some reason
cannot conduct a personal Bible
study, please give their contact
information to Bro. and/or Sis.
Oliver or to one of our Leaders.
Welcome to the Family!!
